Another idea might be that the GMs could add new droppable materials which the Blacksmith could use to turn an untagged item into a Hardened.... give it the same success rate as combining or something.

This is a good idea.

Wouldnt say all weaps, but def each weap tier into there tier of mats

Or just base it on the mats it takes to craft the weaps ect(could set the top tier mats now even if its not currently craftable)

Thats how id like untag weaps to be used
