Thats just the way it goes i guess.
Mages only have 1 stat to train then can move onto balancing their char a bit. Melle have 2. And still dont hit wither cap ( and its 9 more than int, not sure why) Until melle have hit there str cap for the extra attack bonus. There not gonna sacrifice precious % just to get int. Which melle shouldnt really need anyway. So yeah i made a new char and gone full 230 int and 225 str. More str than 95% archers so they dont do much dmg at all and i can still 1 bang them with my maxed int.

Cap dex with next raise, then melee can do axe and int, simple.

Neglecting a stat because you want to be better in a different department is a choice, whether you think it’s fair or not - which it is.

"DR_EVIL"Neglecting a stat because you want to be better in a different department is a choice, whether you think it’s fair or not - which it is. I wouldnt say its neglecting a stat as such. I think im trying to say surely a warrior wielding an axe will want to get as much str as possible before having to get other stats. Mainly one that will only benefit in pvp. And not in pve If int cap was 239 for example. No mage would stop int at 215 - 220 and gain some dex or str. Anyway. I have a few diff build chars so it doesnt bother me.

If you want to specialise in an area you have to sacrifice another, that’s Soma.
If you evaluate that as the best way to use your stats fair enough, I’d have a different opinion myself but it depends what your main goal for the char is I suppose. Maybe the int cap should’ve been raised to 239 with str, it’s a little late for that now though. You never know, I capped this char with 212 str 220 int at the 120 cap, most people would’ve probably said no mage will not cap int to get some extra str - I saw it as a worthwhile trade off.

New ma clothes would be nice. I thought it would be cool if they look like red clothes with magic hat skin like the mortal Kombat guy 😝 and maybe have mage rewards like titus
