New cap raise idea

Author Content Date
Lvl 130
new quests
2 new mobs for each race melee and mage
Introduce new mobs to conti.
Allow mintons to be traded for valor.

Chance to increase current Auras.
Maybe a chain of quests. Like tyrant neckie 😂 painful but seperates the men from the boys.

For example
instead of 5-5 attack get it so its 10-10
Pd 15-15 to 20/20
Concussion. Same stone but with a proc like zombie/confuse/blind
4th axe recoil 730? To 680
5th slightly longer stone with a -100hp hit

the whole essence of soma when it was esoma .. was that you started playing it, wanting to cap... but apart from a very small handful of ppl no1 capped... very few got to lev 90 or more in several years..
so.... ofc gear was always important.. but you logged on.. you battled beasts, and whether u got drops or not.. you gained stats !! So, every time u played u improved, got stronger and no drops didn't seem like the end of the world.. progress.. meaningful time spent and life was good.. ish...
Gm's took a kinder approach here.. with an already faster levelling rate..and with 12 mnths or so hard work, players capped to 100.. the journey is nice, enjoyable and not having the 7% eva set or accuracy or +8 bow didnt matter.. we played because we always gained something.
Now players are largely capped, or fast approaching , i think it would be better to go back to seriously slow levelling.. maybe the levels give slightly more stats than we've seen, just make them very slow.. so if ppl aint getting the drops..no worries at all.. progression and improvement, and the new caps last longer!
imo this whole gear chase after capping is ''just not soma'' as it was intended.. gear chasing just encourages ppl using the ''easier ways'' of obtaining stuff..
if stats were available..at a very slow rate then these players( or someone ofc) would have to play them else theyd fall behind statwise and the easy to come-by gear wouldnt be of much help..maybe make some of it level dependent too.
Also drop rates... personally.. apart from weapons and rubies , i'd say there are too many drops ... anyway..
