Increase skill req for Nega weapons:

There are presently some nega weapons that can be used in combination with two other weapons and some which cannot. Allow me to explain:

Player 1 has the skill for nega spear, Stinger bow or Apus bow AND the skill for 3rd axe

Player 2 has the skill for nega knuckle, Apus bow and 3rd axe.

The loss of skill damage bonus is negligible and they are able to stone people with a full timer and whip out their other weapon (usually the nega weapon) and demolish people. This shouldn’t be how the game is playable as it gives a decided advantage based on a lower skill set.

People should have to choose TWO weapons OR have a huge loss in damage bonus for not having 200 skill in their main weapon.

There are multiple solutions to this issue:

1. Increase the skill requirement for all negamare weapons, or
2. Make how long a stone lasts based on Skill + Str + Level and add a bonus 5 seconds for having 5th Axe, or
3. Allow people to feather through third axe and make it so that it simply keeps you immobile rather than completely frozen without any recourse.

I am quite happy with this as it adds variation on builds ect.

The trade off for being able to use 3rd stone is using 4th and 3rd tier bows. This is a massive damage drop off for the player especially on apus tier.

It provides an unfair advantage based on the new skill cap which was designed to allow players to reach 200 skill in two weapons. 3rd stone shouldn’t be anywhere near as effective as 5th and it shouldn’t allow mele characters to dominate.

The trade off is nonsense too as Apus / Stinger still hurt tremendously and the speeds of bows have reached ludicrous points now.

These 2 are great idea's

With stone being so important now it would be great to see a bit of diversity in stone rather than it just being level based. A stone with 80 axe skill/10 str with 3rd stone shouldn't last the same as a character with 230 str/200 axe skill and 5th axe.

could even change the current skills of auras, make 5th 200 skill aswell, and then could increase skill cap next cap rise so we can go over 200 in 1 skill

i wouldn't say its a "massive" drop off for damage as its the speed of bows that is more important really, altho i do agree everyone has the chance to get 3rd stone with 2 other weapons, some people have chose to, so let them be.

Ok so you want class variation to be locked to 2, forcing a dsoma play style. What's next? Stat allocation on Hsoma??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

No. People can still have variation. But you shouldn’t be able to have all the benefits I.e. third stone lasting as long as 5th does... and you definitely shouldn’t be able to run around with 3rd axe and have the ability to switch to top end weapon as the only person this advantages are people like yourself.

Make a better dex mage or make more dex / eva :)

3rd Aura allows you to cast which means that if you had a half decent char/gear you wouldn't have this issue mate.

This is what I was going to respond with.

If you want stone to be str based, and skill based. You will find that mages will be made even more stronger compared to melee (who have already been at a heavy disadvantage since cap raise and hero accessories came out).

It’s a big drop apus tier to nega tier. Especially when you consider 50-60 skill loss.

I don’t know how many characters do this but I’d imagine the answer is under 5 who actively use 3rd stone trick?

If you want stone to be str based, and skill based. You will find that mages will be made even more stronger compared to melee (who have already been at a heavy disadvantage since cap raise and hero accessories came out).



This isn't about going after 1 individuals character. It's about addressing the issue that people being able to have almost top tier weapons and still have stone, which lasts the exact same amount of time regardless if you have 10 str/80 skill and using 3rd or 239 str and 200 skill and using 5th. How does that make sense? It's like having a dodge aura for bow that always gives you 75% evasion on anyone, regardless of theirs or your gear/stats

Mages would have 0 advantage if it was based on str, dex or axe skill, as a warrior would usually have more in everyone of these than a mage.
