"VR6T"If u opt out of PK should be a loss of % in drops while u choose this and normal if u are enabled to PK or be Pked. 5/6/7 x lvl 120s kill 1 x lvl 100 and you think they deserve a reward lol? Don't think so.

Or raise drops x2 for those in PK and those not leave as it is?..
PK being Pked or the PKer needs its reward [/quote]

"LUPISCUS"if there were levels to gain .. pk wudnt be such a major issue tbh People PK non stop because they are bored. People are toxic because they are bored with nothing else to invest their time into. There needs to be more to do for capped players, other than just farming mags. If there's nothing to do now at cap there will be nothing to do when you hit the next cap and the cap after that. Raising the level cap isn't a long term solution, it will make the problem worse. The game is geared towards being at its peak when you cap. When you get there, you'll find that there isn't anything additional to do at cap apart from not wasting exp. You can do everything you could do at 125, at 120, or even lower if you are a mage and can take the damage from mags. If you're a warrior, get a tank or sacrafice some STR because there's no other real way to hunt mags the way they are at the moment. I've made a post to try and address some of the issues regarding hsoma but it needs everyones feedback. If you could post what your thoughts are on how to improve hsoma side of things, that would be great. QoL iprovements Quest improvements

As it stands...at the cap now.. u can play 100 /500 1k / 5k hours and the only way of advancement is the anvil or ur chequebook the anvil isnt reliable ...and i won't use my chequebook.. so.. slow stats and levels would be a good start to relieve the boredom and give gm's time to work on some of the many ideas and suggestions seen in the forum in the last few weeks. I see u made many good suggestions about quests.. these are just qol ideas.. won't change anything in any meaningful way tho. If you log onto play and put in a week's work u need to see some rewards and improvement for ur character..else what is the point?

"LUPISCUS" Your statement of how long it takes to cap is not true. You can't cap in 3-4 weeks unless you play 24/7 on double rates with tonnes of rested pots. That requires an event and close to £500-£600+ in rested pots. It's not as if your average Joe has that amount of time or money lying around to smash through levelling, only to get to cap to find out there's nothing extra really to do at cap. It takes at least 3-4 months of playing hard to cap with some pretty decent gear. Anyone who is new to the game and doesn't have someone to help them out with items, bar and so on will take way way longer than this. You're making it out as if it's as easy as 1-2-3 to raise a level cap. How many levels does it go up by? What are the new stat caps for str/int? What/where are the new mobs going to be? New armours, weapons, accessories and/or spells? They're just the discussion points I can think of off the top of my head, I imagine there's a tonne more stuff that goes into it. I'm not sure if you know, but coding takes a hell of a long time and it's 1 person doing all of this. That is a hell of a lot of time spent to raise the level cap, when there could be dozens of smaller, quality updates in that space of time to improve the server more than adding a plaster to a leaking pipe. Raising the cap only caters for the people who want the level cap raised. If you give people things to do at cap nobody will care that the cap isn't raised

"LUPISCUS"i was talking about going from lev 120-125 People don't start at level 120 though, they start at level 1? My post covers way more than just levelling to cap. It's more than that. You need something else to do in this game other than level for stats, farm mags (if you have a tank or are int based) and PK. Being honest, Soma in it's current state lacks that end game content and people are leaving because of it.

mmorpgs are bout gaining levels and getting stronger.. with better gear....
when the levels run out ..all that is left is getting more gear.... when some ppl buy it.. and others try the hard way... only 1 winner...so you can make more levels.. or end of game it really is as simple as that. Players are even killing their own alts to boost their kd.... players going round in groups of lev 125's killing solo players lower than them.... that really isn't fun for any1.. seriously? Level cap never attainable.... stats to be earned.. progression to be made, is what makes a good game... All that is possible here... just needs a little work.. So many ideas on forums... but the basic principle of advancement seems to be ignored.

"LUPISCUS"mmorpgs are bout gaining levels and getting stronger.. with better gear.... Mmorpgs aren't just about gaining levels, stats and gear. There are dozens of games out there that have more than that. Look at WoW, Albion and Black Desert online. They are all MMO's and they all have dozens of unique things to do other than just levelling. Bearing in mind Albion and Black Desert Online are probably the most similar games i've ever played to Soma. People continue to play those games after they have capped and almost perfected their gear because of the things to do outside of getting gear and levelling. There is a lot that's changed in Soma since I capped back at level 100, but at the same time there is very little that's changed. The only things to do back then at cap were to farm gear and PK. Gear was hard as nails to obtain, but at least there was a decent enough economy with a lot of people playing. Pk'ing was the same, plenty of people to PK. Plenty of rivalry. Sure level cap has been increased, stat cap has been increased, +2 anvil helps with gear and there are more accessories/weapons. That doesn't change the fact that the only things to do are to PK and farm (mags) for gear. All of this proves that adding more levels hasn't fixed the issue so far and it won't fix it in future. There needs to be other things to do other than levelling and killing mags for gear. "LUPISCUS" Why does everything you do in Soma have to be about advancing your character? Can't you just play a game to enjoy it? I literally tagged 2 posts of how to improve the game without raising the level cap with 69 points betweeen the 2 threads. A lot of the things are very small fixes which would improve the quality of the game and look at retaining some of the user base. Your idea of just throwing levels at the problem has been proven to not work.

that user base will still endure capped characters coming round killing them 2-3 vs 1? beacuse they're capped and bored
a few less mobs to kill for a few quests will make a huge difference? wotever.. i aint arguing. Never seen a more obvious solution to a big problem that is so plain to see..... Reduce pk gap to 10 levs... lev 125+ 's will get ahead and won't be able to kill lower levs.... blah blah.... In the meantime.. capped players farm a few items for a few 100 hours.. break at the anvil , and think ye..this effort is well rewarded.. ill play another 100-200 hours..see what else i can break.... yeh .. great.. time well invested.. end of
