This pk discussion keeps going round and round, same ideas, suggestions and soma is the only loser from it.

For those that capped at 100, then 110, then 120 and now 125 will know the huge difference in stats each cap rise delivered to your own characters. Lower players have less gear due to the levelling rates now and have no chance to defend themselves or even put up any sort of fight.

Keep seeing bring the pk range down from 20 to 10, or 5 levels.....

Keep seeing suggestions about allowing players to turn there pk off so they can’t be attacked.......

Here’s a proposal for the gm’s and the community.......

Turn merc and abias into safe towns and switch pk off, this will allow players that arnt interested in pvp and only want to pve to be able to level there characters or new characters in peace.

Leave pk on for tyt, vod and increase drop rates x1 this will allow pk fights in tyt still and also most bosses spawn in vod.

"LUPISCUS"that user base will still endure capped characters coming round killing them 2-3 vs 1? beacuse they're capped and bored


Immunity means that PK'ing doesn't ruin hunting, you take the 2 and carry on doing the exact same thing you were doing before hand. No more grieffing. No more following from spawn to spawn.

This is my whole point. If you give capped players something to do, they won't need to run around 2/3 hitting people because they will have other things to do to keep them entertained on Soma?

If you look, the quests are mainly to help people get gear and the lower levels. They're not aimed at top levelled players. The QoL thread is aimed at improving the server as a whole, not just for lower levels or helping people get gear.

If it's so obvious, why hasn't the level cap being raised from level 100 to level 125 fixed the problem you're STILL experiencing that people had problems with back at the level 100 cap?

Reduce pk gap to 10 levs... lev 125+ 's will get ahead and won't be able to kill lower levs.... blah blah....
In the meantime.. capped players farm a few items for a few 100 hours.. break i at the anvil , and think ye..this effort is well rewarded.. ill play another 100-200 hours..see what else i can break.... yeh .. great

I agree with lowering the PK gap. But that won't solve anything. You've hit the nail on the head though. The only things to do are to PK and things to do with the anvil. That hasn't changed since the level cap was level 100.

Einstein was quoted stating. "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results". You're suggesting to do that exact thing. Increase the level cap to fix end game content issues, yet here we are with 4 or 5 level cap raises? Still talking about an issue that was persistent at level 100, albeit not as much at the forefront because the usercount was high enough for the economy to be bustling and enough rivalry to keep mutliple guilds of various levels entertained.

take the 2 and carry on is just stupid and blatantly attracts bully behaviour.
rasing the cap hasn't worked because its been way too easy to cap the xtra levels..
apart from that we agree...
making a few quests easier to reach the goal isn't gona change anything.. helpful, but not game changing.
It really isn't difficult to see... ppl capped get bored... go round in pairs or more killing lower levels .. ruining their day and hunting.... ppl buying items... no stats to be earned..so nothing else to do....
Moar levels.. super slow.. so dont reach cap in a couple of weeks.... give ppl something to do.......

Well I think our idea's are great, not sure why no 1 ells can see them but still, I was told to make suggestions here but after reading this lot I just can not be bothered.
If the games to live stuff will get done or it wont either way we shall see,

well... forums are bursting with ideas and suggestions.. gl to gm's sifting thro and prioritising what they wanna do..
