Suggestions on magic

Magic always hits 100%. Magicians have 5th immunity to interrupt. Maybe you can add some immune magic or anti magic items or skills. Similar to world of Warcraft, occasionally immune to magic, occasionally resistant to magic.

-1 as a mage i cant upgrade my attack speed, missing attacks would just be a massive nerf to mages

Plus you could always equip some magic robes which would lessen the amount of damage a mage does

Dispell already ingame and stops a mage from finishing there cast aswell as stops 4th aura (which in my opinion is overkill for 1 proc)

If the magic trigger can kill any player. For example, you wear a necklace, earrings and rings. If the mage can only wear cloth armor, I agree with you

Why not make 2nd bow/knux aura include magic dodge chance Or maybe 2nd axe to include MD also. To avoid it being to OP just make them share the cool down so you can’t have dodge on and cast 4th Or stone at the same etc.

Soma is the only game I have ever played where a mage can have more str than a melee char and wear the same armour as a melee char.

Mages are supposed to run around with pointy hats and cast powerful spells! Not be able to run around wielding the same powerful axes as melee and wear heavy armour.

Hopefully the next lvl cap increase will go some way to widen the gap between melle chars and str mages. Maybe a new armour that has dex/str/Int requirements.

Soma itself is an unfinished work. For example, "divine world" does not appear in the game. Magic can be said to be invincible. Because they always hit 100%. You can dodge physical attacks. So I think adding resistance and immunity spells will only make the game more balanced. Of course, you can also add magic hit rate.

In the past, the shooter is quite powerful. Now the shooter has been weakened too much. But the mage has never been weakened. And you can kill a 125 level player in one go. If so, I think everyone might play a mage. Look at dsoma. That's about it now.

As melee you can dodge melee attacks but youcan also maintain your attack throughout
A mage in dsoma is given a 10 second window with a 1 minute cool down of no attack

By all means suggest magic evasion along with allowing magic casting not being interrupted

I know that's a great skill. What we are talking about now is when there is no interruption. The mage is still invincible
