can dispel possibly get changed to stopping aura only/spell only

Its abit overpowered when its proced on a mage(specialy with how available it is on dsoma as diamond dosnt realy have another major use)

Its basicly stoping mage from finishing a cast(still got the cast animation, but wont fire the spell

Aswell as stoping auras, and when 4th has such a long cooldown anyhows its basicly locking mages out of fighting

unfortunately I must -1 to this

watch the first 5seconds mages are overpowered esp on dsoma since most are melee and cant wear robes as they will then be heavily weaker against other melee.

I have maxed out my wis on nagato (186) and still get wiped by mages easily.

These days you need 2-3 melee to kill a mage and no hope for spears, sword and knux combo as mage will just feather n 1 bang from range (we seriously need a stun aura/spell for 1-2rangers)

I also don't like to ask for mages to get nerfed as its nice to see so many dsoma mages now being made but dispel is the only defence we have against you. Hsoma doesn't have the no interrupt aura (4th?) so its only fair that dispel kills that off (if procd)

I'm ok with the lack of casting, but I dont believe an aura that stops interruptions should be interrupted, especially by another spell no less (4th staff at wotw is 100% pointless as dispel just gets cast)

5th axe I can agree with because again it's another aura

It is perfect as it is now, yes its annoying for a mage but it serves a balance at the moment.
I can only imagine your 12ish active mages/allies rushing in that cant be 1v1 banged and freely casting at gvw
Leave as it is, or first consider other first range classes to have stuns and ranged hits like wow.
Make it so mages cant 1 bang devils with capped wis by reducing their attack then there is room to discuss about the dispel change.

The only people that can really use this against dsoma mages are archers so its a little pathetic for this request to even be added.

If we looking for real balance and to solve real dsoma isues, look into knux, sword and spear as they cant get involved in pks without stoners around

Again look at the above vid, Merlin was able to 1 bang a capped axer without even a weak proc but 3 people needed to attack to kill.

The no interruption aura should probably not even have existed but it serves a pupose for mages in a lot of pks so just leave as it is :)

mages are used in nearly every pk combo these days

Genuine question, can mages 1 bang a player with capped wis? Majority of people who drop are melee spec

And I agree nuk/sword need looking at, but the biggest issue is the duration of 5th axe,
5th axe is almost certain death specially when mages are supporting, it's this that stops other range 1 chars being viable

Spear is slightly squishy but again a price to some extent to be paid for the massive dps output - though this also succumbs to the 5th axe issue

nagato who is maxed wis needs to also wear full omni to survive mage attks otherwise a good geared mage will drop him no probs.

mages have enough addons to make them op - none of you will be actively play it on dsoma if it was shit.. stop asking for nerfs/buffs just to suit your class and guild and look into real solutions to bring more dynamics to dsoma.

Same, i dont mind having to serum it, its how often its procing as i cast 4th and completly stops mage from being able to fight until 4th cooldowns done

Suggested auras as thats what it does to all class's, it dosnt stop melee class from being able to attack

This topic kinda going nowhere.
Lets be real, at the moment the only time you get procd is during GVW and this is the only defence against getting 4 or so mages storming stone and using AOE to instantly kill everyone around it.

You can instantly serum against dispel and attempt to recast.. the fact you lose 4th is good else it will be unbalanced as fk.

Moan all you want about mages but its a massively growing class due to how overpowering it is - lets focus on the classes who are neglected; spear, sword and knux not the class that can feather fk most of us.

I am losing IQ over repeating this point but will continue to do so to avoid you messing with the dynamics of how it is now.. if you hate mage, feel free to use a different class - infact I have many and will swap you any of mine with your mage =]

You are capable of 1 hitting any dsoma char, and i can vouch for this as Merlin has 1 hit every single one of my chars - yet show me one melee char that can 1 hit you

You have an aura that can make you hit everytime even though your being hit

You can wear the top dsoma armour even though some melee can not wear the top dsoma robes

Your casts work through feathers evwn though no melee can do the same and the only one class who can counter you is archers

There is a white serum which can counter this even though this fucks up stones so people have to be very careful wearing it

Honestly you and your guild need to grow up and learn to play the game

Axers stone and kills mages
Spears 2 hits mages
Sword hit and 5th mages
Archers stop cast and proc very fast on mages
I dont see many mages tanking 2 people.

I dont see how a person playing a class finds a probelm or is wondering if this is balanced or something that was intended that you deem it to become a guild matter. Keep your put downs in game.
