Hi,

I was going to throw a post in the ideas section around being able to craft from sources other than your carry inventory. It's not the first time i have suggested it and i started to think why other than the implementation issues that it may not be something that has been introduced yet. And the answer i came to is around botting/afk crafting.

I couldn't think of a comfortable solution to address that concern so i thought then look at alternatives to just ever increasing the number of metal leather wood linen etc which i believe to be unsustainable and not a good solution for players.

The most straight forward way to reduce materials required would be to change the ingredients.

So, what would that look like?

I wouldn't want it related to the quality of all the base materials as the whole idea here for anyone that is wanting to craft larger quantities of gear per run is tag searching for higher base dura/att/def.

So what if we change only one of the ingredients and bracket them into tiers. Perhaps while normal recipes below a set tier would be crafted using most bones, those above a certain level would require lets say skele bones or cloudy bones?

So, if crafting tiers were determined by the bone tier quality alone then the base mats required could be greatly normalised/reduced resulting in more crafts per run to the forge/loom.

Also, if you didnt want to create tiers of gear through bone, then just have it that if you use a certain tier of bone that the other materials required are significantly less. Essentially another row per item in the create item table.

Apus = 21M 17Ltr 22W 15B (Any Bone (Currently ingame))
Apus (Alternative) = 11M 9Ltr 11W 15B (Skele Bone)

Thoughts? Reducing item quantity is something that is going to impact dsoma negatively sooner than hsoma btw.

Ps I don't underestimate the time it would require to generate new rows for each item and understand that it wouldn't be something you would want to undertake often.
