Impacts of the warp out of negamare map

I think recent change made it more feasible for mages to kill it, I can't speak for hsoma but there are ALOT of melee chars who can't kill nega but attend often on dsoma. Bevan is one of the mages I bet who can prob get 1 in 3 negamare kills as he is kitted well and even us melees can't compete as he hits 100% of the time and with our slow dsoma weaps and the op dex nega has its not even close. I killed few on afro but im near max on attack gear and its purely on 2nd. Juddbebb who I used many times has killed it 0 times recently and it has full accuracy and decent attack set.

Problem with mage tweaking is the weak + 100% accuracy .. it makes it impossible to compete with that if it gets easier... we saw this for over a year a while ago which is why GM tweaked it.

Maybe two types of nega should spawn, one a little tailored for melee and the other a little tailored for mages.

Or lower his md and dex so melee actually hit and mages actually hurt, would takes a bit of tweaking but it must be easy enough to see the damage a mage does and average with cast speed vs damage a melee does and average with hit rate rather than wep speed

lower his stats and up his hp might fix it?

i was also trying to think of a way to solve this, what if nega had 350 magic deffence and 450 mellee deffence and any one doing more than 350 magic attack or 450 mellee will then do dmg but at a maximum of 10 dmg per hit and of course reduce the hp so it doesnt take absolutley forever, this way maybe it would make it a more balanced boss? just an idea

would need to cap damage done to it so maxed out gear ppl dont do too much dmg. else other people wouldnt have a shot

_gandalf_ killed it last and was wearing proc gear
He does not have any MA gear on his character except int+5 boot which I don't think he even wore :)

I can't speak for hsoma but I think its fine, lets not nerf it for melee again :)

Does anyone remember the last time a mage killed Nega on HSoma? Or is there any way to find out? I'm curious to know.

Can anyone remember the last time the same 5-6 people didn't kill negamare tho? as long as a geared mage is doing arouind 25ish damage which I can imagine they are doing alot more with weak then its all about luck on the last hit - most melee geared around doing 40ish damage and missing alot more.

I usually don't see many mages attending, even when it was super easy for mages

probably be a good idea if mages tried to kill it, they tried a couple of times but because they no longer got all of the kills they gave up didnt they?

So we had 6 mages at nega tonight to begin with and they were doing no damage to it until tyrese started to hit it and then it started to spin. Tyrese ended up killing it with 2 melee and 8 mages at the end of it.🌝👍

I think we’d have been there an hour or more if it had just been mages hitting it. There wasn’t even any damage being registered essentially until Tyrese came along.
