Healing in Town / Getting Griefed

Author Content Date
Constitution and healing for intelligence can be done at any time......

String the buggers up that have been going round telling new players that before they leave town they have to do 30 con by punching and getting 100 int from healing, then they can go out of town and start there Soma adventure.

Nobody and I mean nobody enjoys the punching for con, healing for int, increase the speed in which you gain these two stats and stop putting off new players for the good of Soma.

It was changed so you could only hit (and heal) people in PK mode. Once this returns it'll fix the problem at hand.

The difference between healing and not healing to 100 INT is around 7 int after 130. For a month+ of healing in a hut, you gain 7 int. Where you could be farming and getting better gear. You don't need to heal to 100 int, it's not game changing

For the most part people don't heal when they want to be doing anything else besides on double rate weekends so that's a non argument.

"GENTRY"I don't get it. Why do you want to allow players to heal, afk, to 100 int without any repercussions? There's a simple fix and it's called don't be afk. It's not hard to understand tbf. But if there is a "fix" implemented by Finito to prevent AFK chars gaining stats from being killed, just give every starting character 100 int.

I don't care who did it first, that argument is shit (even though I used it before), but if GMs won't ban for afk healing, then as a community the least we can do is prevent it from happening through killing said players healing afk. No one wants to stand by whilst someone is gaining stats whilst being afk.

Con on this server is done totally 'afk', crafting on this server is reset mats every 10 minutes or so and then flip screens back to doing whatever you wanted to do and even skilling on this server has been turned into an afk-fest thanks to Bugs so the idea it's even vaguely an issue that most healing is done afk is a giant joke.

This was fixed in the last update. You can't heal/hit anyone who's grey unless you are in PK mode. Therefore it's not possible to grief anyone who is healing :)
