Disassemble

Hello everyone! so recently I was thinking about the economy in general and about what Isylver said. Of course it's so easy increasing rates but it's just too simple. So what I have come up with is the following,

Disassemble and many other crafting skills are not used at all so I was thinking, what can we do to make it useable and good for the economy. So my idea ties in with the TAG system in which items can be dropped from normal to Mythical. What I propose is that we make it so that Disassemble extracts the tag from any item up to Legendary, the tags .item could be different variants (colours matching the tag) of the Abyss scroll .item.

So what can we use these for?

Well I was thinking about what if you could add these (lets call them scrolls) scrolls to your crafting, meaning that you could extract the Intense scroll from any Intense item and make an Intense Item from crafting it as long as you have the required skill of course. And in my opinion this should only be for the elite of the elite, players with 200 Skill on Armour / Wep / Access (not all req just one).

Pros

It increases the economy tremendously
It gives more reason to craft to 200 skill
It makes farming spots that aren't so popular popular again.
It brings Dissemble back
It will make things like INT Ring of Fighters or Guard Armlets valuable and items that generally have no value but have a high tag.

Cons

It possibly will encourage more low level area botting

100% needs reworking. Already noted it in here at 3.5 and Ravensoul discussed it here

The idea of extracting the tag from an item to then craft another item to the same tag would be abused to hell and back, I could farm to my hearts contents lesser value items for intense, legendary tags then disassemble the tag from worthless items and create stingers, psycho x bows etc with the extracted tag

I must be one of the very few that actually uses the disassemble skill for mats, the skill is fine as it is, it just needs the list of items that can be disassembled looked at and increased, I can craft everything craftable yet I can’t disassemble everything that I craft doesn’t make sense.

Allow crafters to disassemble everything for mats.

Id like dissemble to work along side crafting recipys and returns a % of mats it req to craft, this way new recipys could be figured out from dissemble them(could be 1 material type each dissemble)

Could also make upgrades dissemble for base mats, and large gems dissemble back down

As for the tag, could do this but only for a fragment(even then dissembleing a weap dosnt have to always give a fragment), req quite a few fragments to make a hole then craft with weapon to produce the tag

Not sure about the tag system tokens as you can imagine the staff of skys trying for lego t2 weps. I would have no problem with each item producing its own token so a badly rolled lego stinger for example will let you try for a new one with the natural 80% fail rate. Might be annoying for GM's to make a token for every tag/item though. A simpler solution would be a tiered token system where many items fall into a token band.

I actually like the original diss system but its out dated as many wont use dungy mats and trying to get bones its not worth the time. What i would suggest is keeping the system the same but adding a low chance of receiving mag mats instead of dungy mats to allow players a way to get them.

1355 - mule was pinned by mistake.
