The incentive behind winning Conti should never be linked to lvling speed. It just doesn't work. This is the method that has always been adopted and is hugely flawed imo.

You need to incentivise players through different means. Linking it to lvling I.e mobs after wbm will only result in ppl leaving the game for weeks at a time. A lvl 95 axer not having an alternative mob to hunt will just quit.
This is what is happening.

Incentivise ppl thru;
- item collection like Minton jewels and trade in for itsems. The system is there, it just needs to be expanded because atm the Minton jewel system is not used.
- quests for Conti only. Kill x amount of mobs for a reward.
- castle events spawned by server time rather than gm. Something that can't be ruined by the opposite race (have guards defend or something)

Think I posted on another thread but increase the Minton jewel drop rate and use them to obtain new materials. With these materials u can then craft lb weapons.

So much can be done relatively easily to make Conti desirable without having to penalise players when they don't have it.

Rofl, GV recall is a benefit from being the owners, Linkdx/ganonpk used to do it all the time for there members when they got stoned in a PK fight, can't even remember the guild name lol.

guild village recall is not a bug and its nothing new! but it does need to be tweaked so you cant be recalled once dead or stoned!

in the gap between tarks and GF, just do a punch level or 2! youll get the gains you want and also about 10int per level! cant keep adding conti mobs to hwan and IC or there will be no point in having wotw or owning conti!

there needs to be a new reward added to the race who wins conti to make a more incentive to win!

like upping the weapon and armour drops in conti with a slightly different tone of colour to the origional
or
the race who wins gets a xp speed increase over the full race maps of like 5%

as a member of one on the only guilds that actually raid conti in mass, i have a few views on the issue brought up. I dont have a problem with qimm and zyzz raiding as they deserve the kills, they often use great tactics to do it, yesterday quimm caught me off uard and came after me, i ran a bit int amoured up and gt my syrums ready and went after him. in a 1v1 fight on human raid % ive got a good chance of dropping him i think, so when i engaged him zyzz warped in (/trace) and 5th axed me. this was an amazing use of the GV perks and i was not expecting it and was very impressed by it, luckily i managed to out pot em and warp.

now the problem is the High lvls of dsoma don't really care that much, if its not bothering them, this might be harsh to say but i think the majority of the population are out for themselves. i think the problem is more on our side that the humans to be honest, a few lvl 40-50 chars getting dropped dont really effect the lvl 80-90 chars, so why help. i know its not all like this, but there only the odd people i ever see bothering their arse to fight back on a decent scale.

coven try to do this the best we can as we expect it as we give humans a hard time and disrupt their hunting, granted we dont get the kills on the scale of the humans :P we just dont have the numbers or activness to police it at all times.

if devils put up more of a fight in numbers against the humans im sure it would put em off a bit, Dsoma has a massive population of archers and they would be the best defence against these raiding humans, but the most people i see fighting back are range 1 chars or mages, including myself.

also whats behind the title of the thread?

Horus posted it ages ago but yeah, incentive wins wotw although we hardly stepped out of the safe zone last war due to 15 archers ready to drop whoever went first.

I do enjoy a good raid, but I'm not too keen on the huge disparity in % between humans raiding and devils.

2 level 90+ devils will not be able to down any human in their 70s with 100s, on a human owned conti, but 2 humans can do it to devils level 80 on their own map.

On human conti we regularly raid, and generally only target the humans at BGs, and just annoy some at LBs because even in groups of 5 its hard to land a kill on a >80str human.

The kill feed not only shows the coordination of the group, which was on point!

But it also erases any thought of balance in the %s.

The second thing i'm not too keen on, is that once dead you can still be recalled, removing any and every possible drawback of fighting on conti.

GV trace and recall are amazing and fun to use, but being able to recall someone who has already died is just broken completely.

Feel free to take any suggestions to suggestions section, this thread was about zyzz and I beating our chests to show our raiding prowess not about making anything better or worse.

Strike: Thread title was because Manticore made the claim "quimm camps eb spawn for hours on end" when previously all I'd ever done was the odd passing run, so we thought he'd be interested in seeing this.
