thats the whole point of being a archer(get them to flinch to slow em down) every class has its advantages and disadvantages


also mages are not meant to solo other classes its why a mage needs a axer with them

Only class this benefits is the Archers who many would agree are already sitting pretty at range with speed and power

Flinch is part of any game, don't turn it into omerta shittors vs mutiny thing.. it makes it impossible to stone anyone running without flinching.

You should be able to do something to slow down your enemy.. every other game has spells and aura for that.. this game decided to remove it due to an animation bug?

Not that im for or against flinch but in most games interrupting casts isn't a hugely common theme either, I prefer having flinch because it looks realistic and it is a form of slowing a runner down but I see the downsides to it as well.

implement it properly where movement speed is between iwalkspeed and irunspeed when hit for 500-1000ms after a successful hit. so if ur being hit continuously u can still get away and u dont get stuck on the spot and u dont get bugged out. and then when ur out of range / not attacked u will go back to running at normal speed. job done.

Bring it back, make it chance based and either dependant on range or weapon type.

Ie. Range1 has 50%
Range2 has 35%
...
Maxrange =10%

Or sword spear axe have 50%
Knux/spell have 35%
Bow 20%

Think of it as hammer hits me ill more likely flinch as its a big weight, spear snag me and sword swipe me and all have a larger impact. Where as arrow pierces me but is tiny so small impact.

Personally i would rather have the old flinch back compared to any walk animation, a bow hitting 2? Times per second average forcing you into walk for a second youd never be in run mode

I would like to see more crowd control in game though
Maybe auras /spells that slow target/area movement

the old flinch glitched and u were basically stuck in 1 spot. adjusting movement speed is the only/best option
