What has happened to Hoarde Mode / Heroic Rings?

the game has been pretty busy since the last cap+ ...tho as many have reached the 130 cap ..uc seems to be slipping off a little...
more levels... much slower xp.. wont do any harm, whilst horde mode is worked on.. while there's stuff to do, ppl will play.
5 more levs... 3-4-5x slower than at present... 35 con.... some repeatable quests at trolls/ spiders.. giving tears/weps/tabs wotever... hard to get, but giving some rewards and a means for advancement...

"RAVENSOUL"The hoarde map/event is desperately needed for end game content, I understand iSylver and Finito not having enough time with real life etc and the map create by Mr Fox has issues.

Maybe there’s a solution for you to use an area/map that is imo perfect for this.....

Dungeon level 1, 2, 3 and 4.

It’s such an underused map, apart from about 3 areas with a somewhat decent spawn of devil warriors, earth element, valk shaman rest of the mobs spawning in the dungeon are so spread out it’s a complete waste.

The idea of the hoarde event was each wave got stronger etc.

You could remove all current mobs in the dungeon on all levels and start from scratch.

Every time 0 you can enter the dungeon.

Fill level 1 with strong melee/magic mobs once all killed it spawns a boss or bosses once killed you get to enter level 2 dungeon each level of dungeon mobs and bosses get stronger etc that would be 4 waves ( levels of the dungeon ) bags of fun, requires plenty of team work every time 0


This is a great idea.

Also true that another 5 levels would keep people happy but quite blindly because the way its going. People at the moment will just ruin their characters because in Hsoma you have to be mindful of the rates and do the most optimum route in order to create a viable character. Which means a lot of people will ruin their characters if they blindly level whatever they want. Yes you could make the argument that it's up to them and it's their right but that's just a statement to hide the fact that the leveling system is flawed.

I have many strong beliefs about this game - one being that MAGES should undoubtedly not be allowed to use Stone - anyone who argues against is just afraid of change.

Mages Primary Stats should be INT (obv) then DEX and STR. And they should be able to get all these by leveling normally (with balance) without having to pick up a second weapon.

There should only be 4 main classes available in Soma (as it was intended);

Power Type (Tank with high Defense Stats) - Main Weapon - Axe, Spear
Speed Type (Melee Char Focused around Dex) - Main Weapon - Bow, Knuckle
Magic Type (Dex Mage) - Main Weapon - Staff
Balanced Type (Balanced Melee Char) - Main Weapon - 2 Handed Sword for main DPS - 1 Handed Sword Balanced DPS with a bit of defense by wearing a shield.

Classes should have their Natural counter but they should've never been allowed to mix and match to make broken classes.

I mean it was mentioned before by Tibi I think that me and Gentry use to abuse the fact that you could skill axed to 80 for Parazyle for pvp then switch to your main weapon for dps and absolutely destroy someone. It's unfair and no class should have the possibility to be able to have a stun. Unless of course you play a tank class. But they also shouldn't be allowed to use condition magic because they are not mages - Condition mages should fall to a dex mage role.

The game right now is broken in many little ways. PvP is all about who has the most stoners / also numbers in general.

All PvP events are determined on who has the most people there aka numbers.

Some classes are completely unbalanced.

1. Tanks should not be allowed to use magic
2. Mages should not be allowed to use Stone or any other weapon apart from a staff.
3. Melee chars should not be allowed to use Stone, Like switching between Stone > Spear, Stone > Knuckle.

(Pretty much the only Class that should be allowed to use Stone is tanks, no1 else)

Honestly the Dsoma system is were is at - it fixes all the healing to 100 bullshit, it balances out PvP - and roles are more clear. Hsoma Mages wouldn't change much, just have to choose between wearing eva/full ma/ proc. But they wouldn't be able to use other weapons ofc.

But I know Hsoma is too deep into it to change and of course people would start having Carnage meltdowns and quit the game if their precious 100INT healed / last hit chars were reworked for the betterment of the server.}

@Dan you mentioned nothing about the Heroic rings lol. Last I saw they were ready, They just need to be added into the game and a quest needs to be made for them (which is already there you just have to change the rewards)

100% fine. Naturally as stats get higher they use more %, thus if you want high dex / str / int you’ll have to sacrifice another stat. If you want an all rounder getting the most stats possible per levels available then again that’s a personal choice. But there’s nothing broken about it.

It’s funny how you’re now getting Leon1das ready you want mages stone removed 🤷🏻‍♂️

Stone is the only available CC. More CC should be added (for example lvl5 confuse and slow could cause target to walk for x seconds, not saying it should be this) and stones duration should be nerfed.

Only other PVP issues are:
Multi DB proc ie. DB procing 4times at once. (this could also be an issue on Dsoma)
200 recoil knucks, 300 recoils bows, 400 recoil hammers/spears.

Personally I prefer Hsoma. If I wanted the Dsoma system I would play Dsoma.

dsoma system ruined dsoma in way and the new procs proved it now dsoma has double tabs i mean come on have some common sense why on earth would u add those things on dsoma.

Hsoma system is fine its your choice how to build your character the way you see fit.
The issue is that meele chars that can use a fast meele nega wep while having the skill for stinger and in case of knuckle/sword/spear with 3rd axe is plain wrong.

Also you talking about stone but you didnt' mention the way DB procs which it shouldn't even proc multiple times the % system of a full set should increase the chance of proccing not the chance of proccing more than once in a single spell

Endgame is just awful in soma (most games as well). Needs some serious love to get it decent tbh

We can't fix it all just now............
We all in lockdown..............
Increase lvl cap by 5 lvls - prob take 5 mins to do............
People are occupied and happy.............

Take away stone and what do you get? Myth of archers, which will be the only viable class without stone. Mages wont be able to cast, only use pre cast so will be a hit and run fest, it will be like d soma without lvl 4 staff so bow would be the only option as currently dsoma is axe bow or mage or you are useless.

I'm capping Leo cuz I need a decent char for Nega etc xD. Would never use it for PvP unless It had a Godbow.

It would be nice to see heroic rings come onto game..wh could do with 6 more spaces! And the fact everyone will be able to get a few different ones with the amount pf tomb i and the rest of soma must have collecting dust im wh?

An abyss map like eureka in ff14 would be good, where the more you kill the stronger your class endgame weapon and armour gets.

Dailies could even add endgame versatility, if say there was an option to kill 500 instead of 200 and you get a gem outright or a tablet.

Dan also mentioned a while back about the possibility of random roll triple stat items, which would add a lot of playability to the game as people would hunt for that perfect roll.
