Recent changes for mages regarding the damage reduction

Think Jamie is saying that MA doesn't work anymore like. A 250 max damage spell now hits for 150 meaning MA basically does nothing. Realistically you could just build 5 procs on a 200int char and outdamage a 250int char with an MA + proc build because of the damage over range. Which, as you said, just makes 5th stone essential for a mage.

limiting procs to 2 / reduce the damage that procs hit to 80% first 60% 2nd proc. would soon see more MA used then

perhaps a change to the calc for magic attacks so it doesnt come off the damage done but the persons MA so would allow more ma builds to still do higher damage

Agreed somewhat, but u have to be achieving spell dmg cap on a player for ma items to be pointless

The dummys ain't exactly good to test this as I belive the highest magic def from a dummy is 40

Also for 250 max dmg to do 150 ma that's range 6

All i know is RVR human mages do stupid damage on dsoma to devil
in pk for hsoma we do no damage

as for dsoma pk i am under the impression dsoma mage does too much? but tbh i think dsoma bow was already op

"AXOM"If anything mages need reviewing and correcting… wotw wearing big MD omni, still took big damage and killed… know there’s a deficit with % but that was daft some of the hits.

And the amount of gbird casts insane… 4634 you were biggest person doing this… remove gbird and stick in random teleport or interrupt cast or cool down…

Actually team work PvP / RvR is better… not pure luck proc claiming ‘big skillz’


just re-emphasising your point the % between devs and humans was massive, g birds was used to avoid being stoned not casting, i had pre casted between casts when devs and humans was switching between the safe zone to

Easy solution just revert changes back to what they were for both mages and warriors.
