"MEHVIYAT"I think GMs genuinely did the best they could, but the majority view wasn't always on forum or a PM/PMs to a GM in game, which I think was completely missed and made new players leave, it should have been a lot more new player friendly, which it was starting to be but even the 2 kill rule was then taken out to please current players at the time (are they even still here?), combine that with toxic players in the community it was bound to not end well.

Now the game just feels like a constant uphill struggle, the capped players can come back whenever, which was fine if the game wasn't literally forced to be all about PvP.

No point levelling a player just to be served up for an evening of harassment and trash talk.

Immunity pots
2 death immunity
kd taken off website

Its not all aboutt the pvp. issue is majority never leveled in esoma. Add 15 levels make it super slow. bump up drops so people want to level, and when the grind is tedious the decent drops that currently dont happen will give incentive to players.

Amend bosses that isylver use
increase soul drop spawn and randomise spawn more not in same place 0 gives othe rpeople a chance then.
Add a second crystal run for nega at a diff time

The idea of extra levels has been poo-pooed by many players over the last year. They ask for ''end-game content''

End game content could be described as horde mode

Well... it may be well underway and Fin proly worked/ ing his ass off trying to do it.
It still hasn't happened yet, and even when it maybe implemented, it isn't going to be the magic ingredient to draw players back.

The whole essence of Soma has been never capping, the addiction is .. of playing to gain ur stats and get some drops along the way, never capping and always levels to gain.
The moving forwards and hoping for some good luck with drops.
Once capped, that's the end of the game.
Until more levels are introduced, much, much slower... to give that feeling of moving forwards, however slowly,
there is no game any more.

Playing for bosses, of which there aren't enough for a whole server.. is just 0 fun.
A bit of pvp for those who enjoy it, keeps them ticking along.. but the main game has just ended.

Said this all year... only seem to get '' no more levels needed'' .. well
More levels are needed. More drops and mobs as above too.

This is fact, not opinion.

Anyway.. can only say the same thing 73 times in one year, and get ignored before giving in.. so

* given in*

Hope all goes well for Soma and everyone in it

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all

I would have to disagree with your essence of soma has been never capping.

On esoma we knew when we started that level 100 was the cap, and believe me there was competition to do just that. It’s why plenty of players chose the multi way of playing to compete with us solo players that put plenty of hours into our character to stay anyway near us.

I know I’ve been one of the players saying no to more levels, it’s not that I’m against more levels hell stick it to 150, 200 for me if the gm’s want to, I just think like many other players do that time spent on soma should be to fix all the problems that are in game so players want to keep logging in.

There’s plenty of threads regarding the problems over the years and still are there today it’s why players take breaks.

I could spend an hour listing things from drop files to upgrades etc but these are things that would be Qol things that make a player want to keep playing. 5, 10, 15 more levels keeps you busy for a month or 6 months but if the things that are broken arnt fixed then guess what in a month or 6 months time when your capped again hey them broken things are still there and then the cycle begins again, players leave.

As I said I’m not against increasing the level cap. As for hoard map, great concept but if it ends up like negamare once a soma day then you might as well stop working on it and spend your time on all the other things on your list to fix gm’s. Players need a purpose to keep playing once capped and logging on at time 5 or 6 or 11 or 17 etc just for a boss etc only keeps a players attention for a certain amount of time, but this has been brought up countless times in the past.......
