How come server keeps going down? I lost my Orion's eye last night but could of been my intense rap nux, what is the problem that's causing the down time? Don't feel safe to hunt lol

I believe its the network at the moment and not the server itself. Basically the connection drops but the server is still running which is extremely annoying.
I believe the hosting staff are looking into it. |

Surely it's for reasons such as this that we should not be able to drop items if we die to a monster. (Already had someone in my guild drop epic gear due to lag)

Surely it's for reasons such as this that we should not be able to drop items if we die to a monster.

Think I'll just wait til it's sorted, logged in after the crash with 86 hp had to disconnect myself as well when logging in, could have been a lot worse and lost good gear.
Would be nice if we didn't drop items to mobs or there was some sort of item replacement system in effect for valuable items lost during crashes at which the player is not at fault.

One thing that I've always wished was different about soma was dropping items when lagging out...either to mobs or during pvp...if that could be changed to say force drop only barr as long as you have over 50k or something. ..that would be brilliant! Maybe make it so if you die and warp on 10% penalty u do drop? With the rarity of some items, some of us don't risk logging in when having connection issues like this.
