Hero2 mage pads

Warrior hero2 is +5 dex mage is + silly def, mage should have been +5 INT because its pointless when epic ancient pads same def? could a GM please change this as its not fair show me warrior pads droping same as hero2 or better? *khaby lame*

I remember when I was young I was raised to ask politely when I was asking for something. Not to slate someone and then in the same statement expect it to be changed.

Can you post in the appropriate forum page please. An idea or suggestion should be in the ideas and suggestions forum page. Wouldn't bother though as it's a shite one. Would be the top that changes to int anyways. Just saying

oxymoron really because yes warrior top is strength , however warrior pads are dex so the respective stat would be wisdom which servers no purpose because dex contributes to accuracy and evasion serving a purpose in pvp and pve. Therefor having ma on hero 2 top is appropriate to having int on pads because mage 2 pads server no purpose unless there was a major buff tothe magic defence on them.



Bigrik you may agree with frequency but you do play a mage on dsoma that has weaken and slow on there hero parts.

Now you all said its a bad idea but you aint given no reason why pads are currently valuable and shouldn't be changed....

Did you use that word cos it has moron in it?

Which part of what I said was contradictory terms appear in conjunction? Not like I said that it's a positively negative, good bad idea?

Counterintuitive as they serve little to no purpose you mean?

They have what they have on. Get them or don't get them. Post in ideas and suggestions and not rudely say to GM's they are shite then this idea might actually be looked at. Just saying

I don't think any offence was meant by it, maybe a better choice of words. However i have mentioned it in a PM before. Standard rule of gaming is players want reward for investment assuming the incentives are there in the first place but the issue is the longer you've played the less the game is catered to you as seen with recent dynamics game changes such as range proc item delay. Which leads people to change their gear of course. Obviously this process occurs to move forward with the game. A change on hero pads would be more rewarding for all those who haven't been able to keep up with the game dynamics changing due to the gear they had to compete against others to get to that point in the first place. If you already got tidy gear its easy. if you dont its harder. Anvil and drops
play a role here to.

To quote a player in game "Drops itself has been in a terrible state for so long due to the increasing exp rates without applying a increase to drops." There's a lot of fun stuff been added recently but its very hard to achieve
but for me its like this yeah, I'd like a better gear, but why bother when I can just kill pretty easy anyway. This applies to all classes with all gear to. The only thing that interests me is nega tears chance of a tear drop every 4 hours if you get it and every 12 hours at ultimapus not that mystical frags drop that often. Where as some players maybe still chasing evasion or accuracy or rdt sets etc.


There's just not that much to chase which ever side of the geared or non geared spectrum your on. its very hard for the less geared players to compete and keep up. It is Not because there's no incentives. It is because of either other players not being able to compete or breaking things at the anvil. For example when you spent like 9 months making an item such as a +7 soul necky and it breaks going +8 in less than 30 seconds. Losses need to happen to keep players playing but reward to investment is insane because of boss spawn timers, etc. or if your trying to compete in pk wirth a +8 rdt helm against a longer standing player who's got a +8 cdt helm epic vaf stud etc. How you meant to kill a boss even lol. Sometimes players do get lucky but as a
general rule it is a bit too hard if your not geared.

For me this is a good change, essies are straight forward you dont have no bosses to kill, its a good base at +2 if your starting out gearing.

Going off the tangent one last time i think 15 levels being a final cap raise or a 5 level cap raise for now then a 10 level cap raise extremely slow. Possibly new auras maybe hero 3, new maps. if that was brought about with horde mode. You would see a higher rate of player return /retention. I think tackling the smaller things like hero 2 pads. or second sword would be best though. I don't use sword anymore just observed sword users hsoma side change weapon already. Ranged auras would help with range 1 weapons or speed up run or give them stone etc.
