Crafting bag weight

Author Content Date
I've acquired a fair amount of crafting skill but still havn't had any bag weight increase, i've asked around and someone said it was nerfed, i've had a quick look through the forums but cant find a post on it (My apologies if i'm just being a tard) but does anyone know how bag weight works with crafting skill? Why was it changed in the first place? One of the main reasons I crafted was to have the bag weight increase

I too would like to know the formula or whatever is being used to decide how much bagweight is gained per crafting skill, as it seems a little low.

Would be great if one of the GMs can provide us with this info

With quite a large amount of crafting skill, I'd also like to know what bagweight gain it was, as crafters robe doesn't add any either, which most servers have implimented. Noticed no bagweight gains throughout the level, also didn't notice much extra being gained after a huge crafting session between level ups, when i did level up.

I did see somewhere that bag weight now goes up with con,

Maybe that's what they swapped it for.

Thanks for the reply, do you know about the crafting increase or is just purely the robes now?

Basil, CON always effected weight - it was exactly half your CON was added to bagweight on level up, each level. E.G - 20 con you'd gain 10 bag weight per lvl, 22con - 11bag and so on.

Not sure how it works now, though. ^^

Thanks for upping the craft robes.

Can I ask for the hp, mp and bag weight formulas to be made public. I hate not understanding how something works, thanks.

I currently have a total of 110 crafting skill, (80 wep and 30 access) it should give me
+10 bagweight for 50 wep
6 * +5 bagweight for the other 60 crafting skill

Which is well +40 bagweight

However when comparing to another char which is exactly the same level as mine, and we both have 18 con, i only have +25 bagweight over this character. (Characters in question are myself and Heisenberg if GMs want to check this info)

Is this intended? Is it correct that crafting now provides less bag weight?

Also i think the crafters robe should now be untradeable, to prevend people transferring them all to 1 character to hold pots at GVW or some other funky use like that.

How does yours and Heisenbergs str compare, as it is now part of the equation...

He has a fair bit more str than i have, which i can only presume means that he will gain more bagweight from str than i do

Which would mean that i am gaining slightly more than 25 bag weight from crafting but how much i cannot tell since well, we dont have the same strength...

Would be nice if the formula could be made public, Either way it looks like crafters could use with a little more bagweight

having bagweight on robes is going to be bad for gvw anyway, u can remove and replace the robes and constantly pick up pots on the floor, 5k pots for gvw anyone?

you dont need to be at gvw u can do that trick for normal hunting. buy a bag of pots drop swap ur robe on and off and pick them all up. i thought it was a well known trick for a +weight robe. amazes me its not common knowledge lol
