It’s a sad state that in 2022 that players try to manipulate, exploit, cheat, bot, etc to get an advantage while playing a game, a game as easy as what soma is to play fairly and honestly.
It’s also sad that no matter what great suggestions or additions are put into soma, that there is a small sad pathetic minority that continue trying to find ways to exploit, cheat, manipulate, bot etc to play a fucking game. It’s all just pixels, it’s not real. The purpose of the immunity pots were to give the PvE, casual players a brief rest and chance to level there characters, but low and behold the sad pathetic bastards that can only play soma by cheating, manipulate the mechanics, bug abuse, bot etc to there advantage. Been suggested in past when logging on having to chose pk or no pk, true PvE/casuals would pick no pk and never look back. But we all know the sad pathetic minority would just have an alt abuse this to no end. Maybe if possible to code the pk/no pk to email/isp so that it can’t be abused with all players accounts? I don’t know much about immunity pots, never had one, never used one, so unsure what cooldown period there is in place from a player pk another to using an immunity pot, but to prevent the abuse once you attack another player you shouldn’t be allowed to use an immunity potion for at least 12 real life hours and I would say same if using an immunity potion you can’t attack another player for at least 12 real life hours. I’m at a crossroads about them at participating at bosses, the true soma player there is no way that you should be allowed to use them for attending bosses, but since the current soma way to progress requires items from top end bosses. For the PvE/casual players immunity potions are there only way because the economy is so broke that items aren’t finding there way to these players. If they can’t continue there journey and feel that they can progress then they will leave. Now I know some sad twats are hell bent in driving away majority of players from this server. But soma needs ALL types of players, PvE, PvP, casual, stop trying to destroy soma, if you can’t play fair fuck off and stay away from gaming.

Raven there is also PKers that are casual.. this concept needs to be understood as most at this age have:
- A Life - Family - Job - Multiple commitments Ones that are always trying to adapt game to thier needs are always moaning here and on discord.. I've not been on Soma discord as its a dead chanel same people chatting mess begging for things to go thier way. I've posted less than a handful of times with ideas and suggestions. I've made some pertinent suggestions on an overhaul of how the PK immunity system works. Thankfully Finito has listened to part of my suggestion and increased the immunity prevention timer to 5 hours. This issue of immunity impacts a lot of people actively playing the game. It's obvious you're tilted by the idea that your team mates will have a slightly more difficult time exploiting the immunity system now. As for botting - again it is largely the folks on your team and the people you are mates with that are guilty of botting and using PvP adaptations. This isn't merely a statement being petty or laying blame... its factual. Why should I waste what little time and energy I have on the matter when every time it gets raised we get a load of grief, abuse, toxicity and nothing getting done? Or when something does get done it only ever appears temporary then the arrogant smarmy gits log in game and do a world shout as though it's an achievement to get away with their transgressions. Nice attempt to derail my thread by the way but it isn't going to work you wet wipe.

It has been properly overhauled and I appreciate the work of the GMs and for the fact they have listened to a cross-section of the community not just your own 'side'. I do not see how the time of year is relevant except that you are attempting insults - the not-so-subtle suggestion that the players in my guild are not spending much time with their families at this time of year is frankly disgusting as it is laughable. Botting is a far bigger issue. Make a thread and I'll contribute my thoughts on the matter. Who the fuck is Soma's hobbit? If you want to focus on botting make your own thread to discuss the matter. Simple as that really. All I see here is you bitching because a change has been implemented that your side dislikes because it puts us back on a somewhat even playing field. I'm an absolute delight in real life. Smoking shisha in my shorts having an absolute blast. No bruised knees here - plenty of rugby injuries though.

I've been back to soma for about 2/3 weeks now. Haven't been able to attend a single boss as the moment I get close I'm killed (Majority of the time by the same handful of people) now I don't mind being killed as it is a part of the game, however it is frustrating that I can't even attempt a boss kill unless I go immune before hand, making my progress in this game come to an instand halt. Taking away immunity for me personally would make me leave the game as I am on NIETHER SIDE and haven't attempted any PK, yet I am being seen as an enemy, KOS. Again this is perfectly fine while I'm out hunting so long as I can go immune and avoid being stopped from boss'
In regards to botting and using pvp cheats, it's just pathetic on a game like soma. Grow up 😅
