Curiosity of valour weapons...

I keep hearing how soma has reverted back to the myth of bows so I have a few questions that hopefully the community namely the number crunchers will be happy to help clear up.

We all know the basic weapon tier went

Axe, spear, sword, bow, knuckle in order....

In that axe had the highest attack but the slowest speed and that knuckle had the lowest attack but had the fastest speed (basic tag/no tag)

These are the basic valour weapons from the armoury

Grand axe of valour - 86~129 attack, 1300 recoil

Grand spear of valour - 92~124 attack, 1300 recoil

Grand sword of valour - 90~110 attack, 1200 recoil

Grand bow of valour - 86~113 attack, 1200 recoil

Grand knuckle of valour - 74~92 attack, 1000 recoil

These are the basic stats, untag values of the valour weapons.

So my questions are what would be the correct reduction of 8 perfect SS to find the ultimate recoil on all these basic tag weapons?

Once the ultimate recoil is identified what would be the dps per weapon?

It’s not just about dps, I think that’s where the initial mistake was made on Val weps.

Range is king.
Bow
Mage

Then people run 150 skill to use an off axe as stone is also king.

I don’t see anything else being used in pvp. And it won’t really change unless stats/speed is changed but also maybe auras.

When nega weps came out, knuckle was made amazing. And you used to see a lot of Crystal knux in pvp. And you also had Starwars/zoldier using sword and others using spear.

You have covered nicely some follow up questions I was going to ask about.

5th axe/auras/skill.

And range attacks.


My understanding when I last played many moons ago back in March, bow had its attack tweaked for range so the further you attacked the attack lowered, is this not the case?

Great post and it does seem to me that the bow was a mistake it should really be 79-96 ish to co-incide wirh knux. But sword also looks weak.

The whole val wep tier dps is far to high imo compared to how stinger/psy/nega bow scaled.

But solutions are what is needed as it cant be undone now

The Gm’s always have the power/ability to change things regardless of how long they may have been implemented ago.

They could reset items to original stats, they can cap recoil, they can change toes from +5 to going +8, they can change SS from +8 to going +5.

Bottom line is would changing x, y or z piss off majority or minority of the playing community?

Damage on val weaps should of been nerfed a long time ago

Something else to ponder......

With the insane high attack of valour weapons, plus the double tabs/top end boss soul accessories you can potentially have over 1000 attack.

Last time I was near arena many moons ago, I did see a few players getting into the 1000 damage range. Now I know both races had a slight hp increase, but imho I don’t think it was enough. Maybe taking another look at hp for both races?

should bolster that attacks on other weapons.
DPS should not ALL be equal. thats where the biggest mistake came into play. even with range reduction as soon as sum1 is stoned people ar range 2-3 away doing max dmg with a bow

make 5th aura's 200 skill requirement.
