Loopy, I think you've had that mentality the wrong way around for a while now.

People RMT and bot precisely because no real effort was ever made to stop it.

You'll never stop it completely, it's an impossible task but there are pretty basic ways of catching bots in particular that could have been implemented years ago. Yeah, it's a community server and in an ideal world that wouldn't be necessary but people are always going to be people.

To get back on topic, your suggestion regarding speeding up con. I’m all for that but I think the 1 hour timescale might be a tad taking the piss maybe if it was somewhere in the range of 4-6 hours might help.

The reason I give for the 4-6 hours is, I gave an old friend some mats to gain there first special repair 0-100 craft skill and said it roughly took them around 5-6 hours which I think is a good enough of time invested versus reward of the first special repair. That being said I think the crafting after this ie 100-130, 130-170, 170-200 need to be speeded up. Reduce the amount needed per 0.1 because it’s the biggest reason why so many are botting, botting collecting mats, botting at the craft stations gaining there skill. If it was quicker it would help honest players being able to get mats and gain there craft skill and it would help the enjoyment of seeing time invested versus reward much greater which after all is the whole point of gaming to have fun.

So I would suggest keeping the 0-100 as is around 5-6 hours then make 100-130 around 6-8 hours of crafting. 130-170 around 8-10 hours of crafting, then 170-200 around 10-12 hours of crafting. But I would also as I’ve mentioned on numerous times increase the restock frequency to every hour and open the shops 24/7 and increase the amounts at restocks.
