weapons wouldn't need to be wiped if the damage over range / accuracy / removal of player str from bow attack was implemented purely to val bows as a fix. Any subsequent new weapons or armours could then be given stats of their own to prevent this happening again.

It is also possible to make these changes only effective for human v human pvp...........

all the +'s would need to be removed...
the new fangled stats and range/damage/acc would have to be re-calculated on the newly un-upgraded weps in players inventories.. which is in effect....

leaving players with non upgraded weps..totally different from what they currently possess...and they would have to upgrade their newly calculated weps from scratch.

anyway.. sounds like a challenge for Finito x

the new attack stats would be calculated by the server on the fly, speed upgrades would be totally unaffected as would the bow's base attack remain unaltered.

I see this as just a quick fix for val bows - and, if you apply it only to human v human pvp then the impact is minimised further

Other possibilities would be to look at val armours and maybe add a craftable defence up-grade just for them....

thought there was talk of maximum recoil for bows/ weps?
there's bows/weps way faster than the suggested max recoils above

Damage from bows/crossbows should be adjusted as follows:

Range 1 – 75%
Range 2 – 85%
Range 3 – 95%
Range 4 – 100%
Range 5 – 85%
Range 6 – 65%
Range 7 – 45%
Range 8 – 40%

Accuracy should additionally follow a similar pattern

Range 1 – -15%
Range 2 – -10%
Range 3 – -5%
Range 4 – 0%
Range 5 – -5%
Range 6 – -10%
Range 7 – -25%
Range 8 – -25%

I think this is a great idea but I also think Range 1 weps need a bit of a buff because there is a huge risk when using them u are instantly stoned at Range 1 for instance since everyone has stone u should be rewarded for taking that risk obv this is just hsoma

Wep balancing for the time being is to hard to fix, it’s quite major.

Boost the availability of champ, and give range 1 Val weps a boost in attack and the rest will need to wait.
