"CURUNIR"The whole "harassment" issue on here is a big put off for me. Soma has always been a very harsh game to play and that's what I loved about it, the constant pking and following from spawn to spawn, although sometimes very frustrating was also very fun. It's upsetting to see pking, possibly the main feature of the game not being able to be used properly, if being able to be used all. Too many threads have been created and bans given out due to people not accepting pking because they're too care bear to put up with it. Couldn't of said it any better ;o

I don't think there should have ever been any rules made about pking/griefing, this would have prevented any bother for the GMs with this sensitive aspect of the game.
Although if there were no rules against pking there would be people constantly red and constantly pking anyone lower than them, they would still end up falling behind, they waste their time pking while you're fellow guildies catch up and overtake them, that's the beauty of Soma.[/quote]

PKing is what Soma is about - it is what arguably makes it so great - an unadulterated, morally grey area, where player can be predator or prey - true Darwinism, it's a rarity nowadays, and should be maintained.

I never said no to pking. All I was getting at that lower levels are totally reliable on high levels to defend them, if i could fight back I would. Currently a lvl 37 mage and 23 axer aint gonna be able to do much with a 85+ archer following you everywhere you go. So stand in town or logout are my options aint really much fun to do either.
