Does anyone know how long it takes for a character to be deleted from the system? In other words, If I delete a character today, when will I be able use the same name to create another char?

A character name after the first 24 hours is then made permanent.

No it's a security procedure. Making restoring characters much quicker for the team. It also benefits SEO as a secondary benefit.
If you want a character restoring pm myself or finito. How it used to work: Char complains of char deletion - Gamemaster then has to find an old database with the character in then restore it then copy the values into a table and add the character back into the chars table (taking a long time). How it now works: Char complains of char deletion - Gamemaster clicks button.

thing Is when server came out I took my 2 favourite aliases, on random chars but I wantdd to make a mage alt, so deleted them to reroll as a female mage, but now I cant as the name is taken

Is it possible to get a character restored? Ive got a character i just realised i didnt a few days ago and want to restore. its a level 20+ spear?
