Further rexob post, they smsll changes that happen that if you're not in game when it happens you'll never know about, I don't know if you log all changes but a thread would be a great help.

A thread of all changes would be awesome tbh, at least then people who leave and come back weeks/months later can see whats been updated. I know theres the news page but a forum post would be ideal

If it's a thread with the history of change logs I'd propose making a place for it on the website instead.
I do think a sticky (closed or open) with 'things under development' would be nice. But remember it's a double edged sword too. Imagine if Sylver and Fin couldn't do anything for 2 months other than keeping the server up. This 'lack of updates' could give a negative image to the server. It's all up to sylver anyway.

First thing I did when I got here was check out the donation store, it's non existant.
From what I understand, the legal issue is regarding the rights of the game and gaining a monetary advantage from it? Who would bring such a claim to you if that's the case (GN - aren't they gone?). If it's not that you could easily set up the donation store and comply with any UK laws (unless the games hosted elsewhere?). I'm not much help unless I know. I would disagree with monthly payments, if anything learn from what you see, it's not paying to play that's successful it's the free games. The game isn't designed to handle more than 300 players (plus 200-300 for d soma), and even that's a stretch. You could easily monetise this game, for example 1.99 for an armor set, a weapon, and so on, it's not a logistical issue either as you (the staff) can add it to the character over a 48 hour period. Sure some people may moan, but once into play it will be fine. A careful plan with some consultation can achieve this in no time.
