I've just done INT from level 1 and I'm now like 22 and I seem to have a lot more HP then I do MP (mp like 118) this shouldn't be right should it? or I'm I doing something wrong

IIRC your MP is derived from your WIS not INT.

WIS determines MP and regen of MP.

Wish I could afford pots to level int :)

The higher your WIS gets, in theory the more MP you gain per level.

No idea what MP someone who has done no int will have, might be worth finding somone of the same level and asking them :)

Yeah I know but my Wis is 30+ and my con only 14 and yet I still have 50+ more hp then mp

I agree. The MP pool does not seem to be up to scratch. Im unable to use any other spell than fireball or my mana pots are used too quickly. I cant maintain the mana pots expenditure if i use SS. Im unsure if this is intended, be nice to get a blue reply on this.

Been doing a lot of testing on this but probably the best example is this one:

My brother who has just done STR to level 24 and I've just done INT to level 24

Him (Str)
HP = 190
MP = 80
Con = 14
Wis = 10

Me (Int)
HP 179
MP = 134
Wis = 30
Con 14

So you have almost double his MP and not much less HP. (Because you have equal con) I see that as an acceptable amount at that level. Don't forget, the more WIS you get, the more MP per level you will end up getting as you get higher.

Is this not a bug then? I thought the Con fix was supposed to allow us to mix int levels without HP being a penalty?

I'm presuming the difference in HP is due to the fact that the int char will have less str at the same level therefore less HP under the new HP calculations.

Correct...

I still dont feel that the MP pool is high enough at this stage. im really suffering from not being able to use SS due to the lack of mana pool and mana regen (even with staff aura) im just using too many pots, and that isnt sustainable with the lack of barr.

Always have had the regen problem and having to use hundreds of pots until you get around 60 wis and you start noticing the regen.

Imagine the horror of being a devil mage who also suffer from having to constantly buy pots, coupled with the fact they also have a nice 250k to shell out for one of their spells :D

From someone who sees the entire birds eye view of the database I can say that mages (although worried) about the MP are gaining exp much faster and gaining stats much faster than those doing str/dex by quite a large amount. Not to mention how much easier Intelligence has become since the "old days" with variable spells and constant casting being a key factor.

I have to agree on this one, I did a level at kobs yesterday with str/dex and it took me 3 hours, I did an int level and it took me 1 hour and a half with big stat gains 13-25 int.
