How does dex work?

Author Content Date
"BRAINDATA"So what we saying? on esoma stats took effect at .5 but on here its at the rounded number? ..
I'm sure I've tested this on a dummy before and str took effect at .5 then shows in F10 at .6 (not on this server mind)

Correct, f10 is .5/.6 and actual damage is .0

I'm just saying it how it is.

Only count whole values.

I usually don't part with too much information as people can be quite headstrong in their opinions, but I've seen many-a-level100 with 0.5 or 0.6 of a stat thinking they're benefiting from it.

In reality, if you hit level 100 with anything other than XXX.0 you will have wasted experience.

I've already seen some people with XXX.6 int, XXX.6 dex or XXX.6 str which nearing the cap is quite a lot of wasted EXP.

Feel free to disagree, it's your characters boys and girls!

Or maybe it is 0.5 / 0.6 and s0rc wants you to waste exp for easy pickings at wotw / ss???

Ok guys, ill do my best to explain how DEX works here ok ?

The actual defensive dex comes out of Euler's formula: e^{i x} = \cos x + i \sin x while x stands for X and i!= 0.
After .5 the equation changes to a differential one, according to Bernoulli who noted that: ∫ dx/1 + ax = 1/a ln(1 + ax) + C, divided by half ur int, substituted to the limit of arg(z)=theta=tan^(-1)(y/x), while x tends to infinity.

Simple as that.

Actually dex is +1 at .5 fact. Test it with strength on a dummy. .5 will give you +1 attack on the dummy, so why should dex be any different? Also 100% is gained by getting to .5.
