Majority of the time it's only soma anyway and everything else works perfectly fine, doubt many would change isp purely to play soma.

Say the same thing every time one of these threads pops up, people used to have the same intermittent problem with BT.
If you buy a VPN you can simply turn it on if you're having connection problems and it'll be sorted as the connection is routed differently. You can also use the VPN for various other things, like watching US Netflix and improving P2P speeds.

I used to be on BT and had the issues, now I'm on Virgin and the issue is with Virgin. I'm starting to think it's me!

"LINNYI""THEMAT"Say the same thing every time one of these threads pops up, people used to have the same intermittent problem with BT. VPN stands for Virtual Private Network, Linny. So you pay so much per month (they start at like £3-5 p/m). I used Strong VPN for a few years but there's loads out there. It basically re-routes your internet connection through there servers, which fixes this problem. Speaking specifically about StrongVPN.com (I'm not recommending them this is just my experience) you create your account and set up the subscription, download their small piece of software for your PC and you just use your account details to login. From there, depending on the price of the package you bought, you can switch between various servers in the UK and other countries. I wouldn't go out and buy a VPN just for soma unless this was going to be a long term issue that nothing could be done about, but they are great if you get one that allows you to switch to various countries so you can view US only content over the internet, such as US Netflix. Edit - There are also Free VPN services, but I have absolutely no idea if they're any good or not.
