Server lag

Author Content Date
Lots of people have been commenting on the lag getting bad the past few days. I keep getting done with the old para from across the screen. A server reboot seemed to do the trick last time, can we have one and see if it works again?

Thanks

+1 with lag spikes, my speed test is 55mb wireless and 90mb wired with no drops so it seems to be specific to soma.

Ye it's something to do with the route virgin takes to where the soma server is

So even tho the games lagging my connection is fine with everything else

I find it a lot easier to just use my phone as a modem using the 4g... as people may no hull is all KC connections so im lucky if I get a decent connection in my area using my own broadband so I just use my phone or the 4g dongle its fine to run soma and hardly use any data

The only solution I can think of is using a different provider. Of course you would have to make sure they don't use the Virgin ISP.

Every time this problem comes forward on Soma, Virgin is mentioned.

That's not really an option for those of us tied into contracts with them.. surely there is a solution.
