Mele versions of CT for access and Proc access

Author Content Date
Would be nice to see something for the warriors like a set that gives % chance of a weakened version of 4th bow Same damage as the infernal upgrade but 4th bow skin maybe..
These proc sets going around now are giving mages 40% chance of an extra hit..
Would be good for Dsoma too as most of their players are mele based

None of the sets give 40% as far as I'm aware.

It's possible to make good melee att stuff, just nobody has done it.

Yes it gives a maximum of 56% , there are 2 spells so you can make a 28%access set and a 28% arm set giving you a 56% chance to land a second hit

Wrong.

Each part is calculated individually.

If you have for example:

3% ring
3% ring
3% earring
3% necklace
3% helm
3% chest
3% legs
3% boots

This does not mean you have 24% chance to proc your spell, this means you have 3% chance to proc on each individual piece.

This does allow for double procs.
For 2 items to proc at the same time is 0.09%
For 3 items to proc at the same time is 0.0027%
For 4 items to proc at the same time is 0.000081%
For 5 items to proc at the same time is 0.00000243%

Essentially, the more pieces you have, the higher your potential burst damage, but it does not make it any more frequent as you are suggesting.

Please do not make assumptions about things you know nothing about, it is always better to ask questions on how things work than to assume.

Melee have attack+ on accessories from Keen Eyes, nobody seems to be making the stuff though.

If you want Magic to be pretty much nullified, why do melee users not make Magic Defence accessories instead of putting it on Armour to make Evasion?

do think there needs to be a proc for str, as the current ones relies on int iirc

If a proc for str is introduced, it must not interrupt spell casting.

Bad as it is.

Dont be so dumb -.-
Ofcourse it should interupt casting. Melee Proc should be introduced definately. 3% chance of 4th aura or 3% chance of double it. Its basically same for int, 3% chance of a double hit, which MA does more damage than str -.-.

Something needs to be done about melee, or upgrade items need to be introduced as all i ever see is things that are benefitting mages -.-

Melee has plenty of upgrades... Don't be silly.

Infact, the most recent Easter Event was a Melee benefitting event. I know lots of people who had 5/6/7+ DT's.

People can make +10 attack accessories using KE, they just choose not to.

All status effect procs favour melee users over magic.
Magic procs provide burst but do not reduce incoming damage.
Spells have relatively high recoil so you cannot increase the rate of procs.
Full accu gear, 500 recoil weapon and 100+ dex and you think adding on top of that a melee proc that can interrupt would be good for the game?

Your argument that magic hurts is just odd.
You chose not to train INT, you choose not to use robes in pvp and lastly you choose not to use your DPs on accessories for magic defence.

What do you think is balance?
Your char is dex based, you barely get hit by melee and you hit all the time. Magic is your weakness.

So sorc are you saying that if I had a 5%set of one proc on I wouldn't have a 20% chance of that specific proc happening? And if I also had a 5% access set if the other proc I wouldn't have a 20% of of that spell happening ?

Or are u saying it would still only be 20% but now with 2 sets I got 20% chance if hitting twice With proc spells ?

It's individual and doesn't stack.

If you have 1 x 5% helm thats a 5% chance.

If you have 5% set, thats 4 x 5% chances every spell/melee hit. Not 20%.

This also means you can get lucky, and proc multiple times with the same hit.

Brb - making multiple threads boasting about having 97 int and loads of dex then gonna declare int as over powered.

all i say is bring back 1v1 pking

95% of the melee chars cant sacrifice accuracy/dex gear for magic defense or even attack gear, hit chance is everything against a mage if you plan to kill/stop them casting

and lets face it most mages are in the average dex bracket and have high defense armours with 5/6/7% evasion sets

melee chars are not running around with 200 dex or 11% accuracy sets anymore, the average dex is 100-110 meaning mages have similar dex to the majority of melee chars

dex being so slow and % consuming has knackered up the chance of being a decent melee char against devils and humans in pvp

mages should only be allowed to wear robes like in most games, not a full bone set giving them all that defense against melee attacks.

if you was to give any advice to any newcomer to this game regarding character build it would be to get as much int and dex and evasion as possible, not go melee based.

melee chars may aswell be classed as support chars as the only thing they are good against is interupting mages or killing lvl 70's with 95 str

Shark what exactly is the problem?
In 1v1 PvP a Dex build human will beat an INT build human every single time. (and even beat STR build humans too).

You can choose accuracy gear to ensure you interrupt the mage and apply pressure.

You can choose magic defence accessories and robes to guarantee a reduction in damage (stone tanking).

You can choose proc gear to apply slow/blind/confuse/weaken/poison/zombie on autoswing.

Would you rather the game be binary in choice?
