Question about Dsoma classes

DEX wil not be raised passed 200 due to the 217 dex rewind. We will not go beyond 200 even if it is techincally safe.

CON IS taken into account when calculating HP. This has been the case ever since calculated HP was introduced on the test server. We were discussing an alternative use for CON in the passed however, we have decided not to do anything with it for now. This was just after the con change was introduced and we haven't touched it since.

I don't see how increasing someone's defence because they are already unhittable is justifyable. Shouldn't it be the other way around? ' I get 1 hit because noone ever hits me'.... ? o.o
This would be the case in any PvP oriented game I've ever played. Either you get hit and take little damage or you don't get hit and take high damage. Anything else goes against every gaming instinct I have.

I've yet to see any archer even try and gain damage through example the use of a cross bow or the proper damage+ upgrades.

For the benefit of the natural spread of classes I believe the best course of action is no action. However this of course does not exclude any changes in the future.

Look at JR's gear

i was wearing full pod set and attack access...

The axer didnt even have the defense upgrades.


i cant provide a test with a crossbow as they are too hard to get !


like iv said a few times... Only couple of things dsoma needs at the moment is a new farming mob that actually has a decent drop rate/file

crafting shop mats restock x 100

monsters to drop gems and artisan scrolls

As this is constructive I'll post again lol.

Fair enough on the CON, would just of been nice for it to have a use for reasons mentioned previously.

The defence thing was sarcasm in response to Gene stating he doesn't hit so doesn't care if defence is increased...

The fact is as per Evils video, hit rate is very different on this server verses original, for various reasons....so this again takes away an advantage an archer was intended to have.

Cross bows are way too rare plus their speed is terrible so doesn't really make them worth using., maybe you could look into upgrading the stats these drop at as an alternative to messing with stats in that case. Maybe even give archers a slightly higher skilled bow with slightly better stats (only an idea).

That they are too rare can easily be fixed. I'd happily do this as it wouldn't influence balance directly. As for their speed, it all comes down to DPS and play style. If the DPS is the same on the cross bows, it's all good. We also have to take into account that cross bows are better for burst damage with auras this would be better in most PvP scenarios.

I also agree that hit rate is a tough thing to go on. RNG can be a bitch so we'll have to think carefully before touching it. Also keeping in mind what upgrades and items are currently ingame that can influence it and how much they are used currently.

I will monitor the situation and work on drops when I get to it. Recently I've been busy with college so Soma has been on the back burner.

My opinion is to leave shit as it is. and add a farming mob with a decent drop rate on conti for both races at level 100.. make it a mix race dropping mob ... so if a human kills it drops human items..even on devil conti

The accuracy test in the video no dodge was used. Bumping this bk to 15% if accuracy upgrades are to much wouldn't make massive difference

didn't want accuracy upgrades added to dsoma tbh, special if dex is never going to be uncapped

Tbh with that attack and it's speed, it's not worth using over an epic grim. It's all well and good saying 'burst damage' from an xbow but in reality the damage will still be no where near enough to come close to bringing anyone of a similar level down, even with many hits (not saying it should do either, but it's just pointless using them over grim the way they are) so again may as well go back to grim.

if tagged xbows, say intense, dropped more frequently this would help.

Jr, where did you show how fast you kill Kekket in accuracy gear?

Do archers all of a sudden no longer use dodge?

If there was some logic in the game would have been different not spring him what everyone says here I'm trying to just say one thing .... Does it make sense for those who have the highest attack also will have the highest deffence ?? The dex here realy help archers?
