Quest Items Clogging Up Bags and Warehouse

Author Content Date
For the time being can you change quest items so they're sell-able to NPC? Or add a specific NPC that we can sell them to so you don't get people moaning when they accidentally sell their 2299 BLG Souls.

Surely it's a quick and easy change.

You'll find more dropped frogs than the reward itself as well.

All quest items are 0 weight, so I have them on my character, right at the bottom out of sight.

Easily run out of bagspace if on multiple quests, and it makes crafting an absolute arse.

Hmmm, I see your point people. I know about needing an npc to sell quest items no longer wanted. However, what I'm seeing here is not a problem in useless quest items but rather quest items that are still being gathered.

At the moment I don't know what is possible. But, I assume the best alternative to these items is a counter much like we have seen last Easter Event. Except of course this should be an individual counter.

+1 For Quest Counters as opposed to items in inventory.

Add it so it can tell you participated in a boss kill for things like the king kob quest and boom. Better!

I know what you're saying Ian, but I do think you over complicate things. Individual quest counters would be awesome, but surely that's something that would be a pain in the arse to implement and take a fair amount of man hours.

An easy fix for now would be to add an NPC where we can get rid of unwanted quest items.

Add a npc out of the way that will buy the untradeable items, much like the one that takes essences and gives hp flutes in abias

I could add a way to abandon those quests and have it remove the items or add a separate inventory for quest items (server side is easy, client side would need some work to be able to see the quest items).

Using counters instead of items I still see as more trouble implementing than the above two possible solutions.

The counter was just an idea. It's not needed.

I liked the separate inventory the most, though the first solution would do the trick too.
