[FIXED] Durability.

I was using a Fiend Bow at 500 durability, fired around 25 times and the message saying it was badly damaged popped up, leaving 16 durability.

This has happened to me a few times now, I thought I was just being careless but this definitely confirms there is something wrong. Just getting a bit tired of seeing it happen now.

Is there any chance you could look into this please?

That's odd, are there particular circumstances, ie tagged weapon.

I would also like to know if anyone else has noticed this.

No tags, just standard Fiend Bows from the vendors. My friend Malice had a similar issue with an Evil Axe, also from a vendor.

Doesn't seem to happen every single time, appears to be random. I've had it occur with varying durability, from 100 to 500.

I know its slightly unrelated, but why isnt durability changed, so that your weapon will just stop working when it runs out of dura, but not actually break.

So when durability reaches 0, the Bow for instance will just stop firering until you repair or replace it.
Obviously at 0 dura the chance of breaking during repair is high, unless its special repaired.

Same for armor, if armors durability reaches 0, that piece of armor will just no longer count towards your defence/stats.

In reply to swift I don't agree armour and weaps should be unbreKable as this just takes another factor out of the game, I agree dura warnings could be higher but it would mess up the market more if stuff never broke while hunting as once people have decent armour the chance of it breaking is slim meaning they don't have to pay attention.

If I'm concentrating I never break armour as I check often but if I watch a movie I do tend to break things a bit more which is my fault for being careless, I should not be rewarded for being stupid IMO
