So now that black magic atk has been buffed...

Can we please have balanced mobs so white mages can do int mobs at the same int as black mages have done?

Either add white magic attack versions of all mobs (or give them a 50:50 chance to using a second, white, spell), or make all mob magic blue.

All the benefit of having higher damage as white is now gone (or will in patch), what legitimate excuse have the black mages now got to deny this change?

It's not a problem, its an inequality. Just like black mages could use other skills, it was inequality which meant they should get something similar. As for slow, well black mages are also getting poison buffed to counter differences in spells.

As for it being wicked, afaik you don't need to stay wicked to use explosion. If you do, then by all means ignore this. Otherwise, we both know how quick moral is to regain if you specifically want it over stats.

Frankly if slow is so super awesome that it means white mages never get hit, why aren't black mages demanding they get a version of it as well?

Quite simply, if black get the same matk as white, then white should get the same mdef. Anything else is just unfair bias.

I don't know if you know, I only skimmed through the comments but black mages get 10 MD If they are attacked by black magic spells. In simplicity 10MD is really crap in pvp etc because everyone uses DB.

and IF would still do more damage due to an extra 10MA from 100 White magic. This only applies if you use white magic spells.

So... You gain faster Int as a white mage still. Higher MA = faster INT gains. People would hunt would DB if they had more wisdom and more MANA. ^^

i have 100 white and iv not noticed this supposed +10 MA...

just checked again and the +10 only applies to IF

DG only seems to get +8
LvL 3 LS and IA got +4
LvL 3 LA gets +1

Wraiths should now be changed to blue magic to even out the advantage black mages have when hunting wraith for strength.
Cure and slow spells could also do with being made to cast much faster as slow is being used as an excuse to not make any changes.

I'm afraid you miss the point. Mobs don't have magic skill, so no extra defence against a certain type of magic. They do however have spells which are effected by your magic class. Ie a black spell would have +10 dmg against a white mage, whereas a blue spell would do the same damage to anyone as everyone has that magic defence.

so blue skill adds MD vs blues magic in the same way as black vs black and white vs white right.


so since i tended to hunt wraiths with my fireball anyway due the the low mp cost and the fact it only take me a few extra seconds to kill them over lvl 3 Light sword i now get to save the MP and have +10 extra MD while doing it, so like i said wraith hunting just got better for me.
