humans need conti spells available in tyt

"KOVARAS"personally i want to play a mage. to be a mage you need IF. atm i feel like im wasting my time, gonna take a week or 2 off until this is sorted one way or another. you will not see me in game until it is sorted n if its not who cares ill find something else to do but ive no interest in playing a server where you can not compete even against your own race because of such a blatant long term imbalance which is been shrugged of every week

seeing this same issue pop up every week must be so of putting for new players as well

I'll hold you to that. Conti spells are staying in Conti spitting a metaphorical dummy out doesn't put any point across it just makes your point less valid.

As for the war stick to one thread.

I'm at a loss as to how this can ever get better. Surely if devils level faster, then the gap will continue to get bigger.

If the idea on Wotw imbalance is human numbers, then this isn't likely to multiply as there simply aren't going to be the number of new players joining in order to counteract the slower levelling/stat gaining. If anything more people will go devil, and new players will certainly go devil if they view this forum before starting the grind.

I think the idea of spells being available in Tyt or another not required to win the weekly imbalanced is a very fair proposal. As then the war doesn't effect the levelling of those players who themselves will not be able to actually effect the war (due to causing minimum damage etc.) and simply not having the stats do do anything other than run away or die. I believe its unfair that players who can't kill devils and effect the war (the majority of humans) are then punished by not being able to access spells which might otherwise enable them to level faster and actually have an effect at wars in future.

Instead it would seem that the whole philosophy of Dsoma has been bypassed, in that Dsoma was brought into Esoma much later than Hsoma, therefore the races starting at the same time gives an obvious disadvantage to the human players.

I believe that Dsoma stat gains/levelling has been reduced but I fail to see how this counteracts the years or so of levelling advantage that Hsoma had on Esoma, especially considering some of the gametime already undertaken by the hardcore players.

I would be interested to why anyone would disagree with this.

"SCOIN"
"ISHARIE"
"SCOIN"Its easy spotting and all attacking single humans for the devils when they are standing outside the safe zone and the humans are inside safe zone.

Human sreps out and the devs all have a target.
The point is that the high devs have no need to communicate as they can kill 99% of humans easily on there own with no help from others.
In any case, with the amount of mid levels dev archers landing nearly every hit, humans cant cast db enough to take devils down so its pointless trying.

Last wow I had the chance to try to stand toe to toe with a couple of archers who were doing less than 10 damage per arrow but hit me every time so I couldn't cast once against them. Imo a dev doing so little damage shouldnt be able to hit me every shot. And no im not an axe user with high str and low dex. Im sword and bow! No point in using sword or bow on them when I know ill do much nore damge with db with over 80 int if I could cast on them.

So the end result is that its pointless attending the war, if less humans consider it worth going the spells will stay locked away.

Sorry you're in gold armour using what looks like a silver bow? Tbh that isn't high dex not even close to been high dex by any means. My Human vs Devil stats aren't that much different, devil has a bit more dex but less str as an archer, use slow/blind feather ect. been in a static location will only end up with you been slapped around.

Thats the point. Dev archer doing little damage should nt hit with every arrow.
Put another way. If on that % the archer is doing little damage then he should miss once in a while too but they dont.
I didnt say I had high dex I said I dont have high str compared to dex. With yiur logic the archer should have been doing much more damage if he can hit me every time.

It looks like some people still do not know how wotw and the % works, let me clarify..

Wotw % ONLY affects the figures that appear in your F10 window.

So, if you have:

100 Dex
100-100 Attack
100-100 Defence

And you are on 60%, your new stats will be..

100 Dex
60-60 Attack
60-60 Defence

So saying that the archers who never miss you are low or mid level, just because you don't take much dmg from them is an inaccurate statement.

It just goes to show that unless you are in your mid 60s or 70, us 50-60devils dont hurt you.

Now I'm not having a go at you, im just point out that they are not necessarily low level, they just do sweet FA dmg on that % as you rightly pointed out, yet they still hit you.

Furthermore the percentage increase on tags (which sets this server apart significantly from Esoma) also serves to aid the Dsoma players exponentially versus Hsoma.

Thanks for that :) that explains my confusion.
It explains why no one has ever found a quick fix to the imbalance problem.

Glad at least someone got what I was getting at.

means though, its more fked up than even I thought it was :(
