Yes i posted it in the other thread, but with a load of other arguging / general uselss posts im going to post it here.

As it currently is, devils will be on 60% next week and if they win again it wont change, going by this wotw on 62.5%, i doubt humans will win on 60%, and it will juts be capped there due to the way Finito made it work. And with the way it works devils will juts be permanently on 60% and humans on 100%, and human would never win.

Also i believe Finito intended it for there to be a 5% change each week, however the +2.5% to human will never be applied since we will forever be on 100%. So the suggested change is simple and as follows:

Remove the 60% lower cap on devils, otherwise humans will never win.

Possibly change the weekly change by 5% instead of 2.5%

Thought you said last week humans could win on 65% if we really wanted to, just wondering whats opened your eyes?.

Obviously i was wrong then, people do sometimes make mistakes, nothing wrong with that.

Definitely agree with this. 2.5% decrement/increment seems too low, and Devils are getting too strong so 60% might not be enough to balance it, IMO.

In the past 2 weeks there have been A LOT of devils moving onto Conti AB, and that's the main thing contributing to our strength right now (we're all getting or getting close to our final tier weapons and armor). That's why I don't think Humans can win even with Devils on 60% as it is right now.

Remove lower 60% bound.

Change the increment/decrement to 5%.

No this is a bad idea. Low level melee devils cannot kill a thing right now. I think humans could do will a small damage buff so perhaps 2.5% increase in damage if they lose. This should be only after 60% war as youve won it before you could win it again

Its not about your low levels (Your high levels walk around tanking 10/15 humans at the same time and not dying, and killing people in 3-4 hits on 62.5%), human low levels cant do jack shit either, its about the balance on a whole, humans cant win at 62.5%, and from what i saw at this wotw, they wont win either at 60%...

Unless you are suggesting the 100% upper cap be removed, and each week humans lost devils are capped on 60% humans are going to 102.5% 105% ect, then by what you suggest devils will have conti forever.

That is what Im suggesting.

low lvl humans can assist massively with support spells. And will be hurting devills around their own lvl a lot more than they are hurt themselves. I believe its finding balance for everyone not just the top 5%.

I don't know where these maximum numbers come from and there's doubt in my mind that they still exist. However, regarding the subject I will refer to a quote:
"ISYLVER"There are some idiotic responses in here. I was lucky enough to witness most of the war and I can see that there is perhaps a problem of balance. What we need to do is find a sweet spot which will then alter by the 5% (2.5% dsoma 2.5% hsoma) each week of defense.

Needless to say I've altered the war percent for next week I'm not going to disclose it but I would like such a turnout again next week.

"FINITO"This is now implemented on the server. First defence does not change the %.

If the same race wins wotw for a second time or more then that race gets -2.5% on each win that applys at the next wotw and the opposing race will gain +2.5%.

The lowest % is 60% and the highest is 100%.


Those are your maximum numbers
But yeah Isylver has said today morning he has changed something, i guess we will have to find out

Still stand firm that the +100hp pot is the problem.

Devils are not flooring humans, but devils are not dropping even though they are taking truckloads of damage simply because of bagweight+100hp potion.

If devils were forced to use +50's, you'd see many more devils dying during the wars.

I agree, but if anything is done to the 100s, you can guarantee the % needs to be moved closer to 100%.

It's my view that the 2.5% changes will be a very good thing, if the lower percentages are not capped, there should be a good few wars where either race could win once it hits the sweet spot.

The percentage cap will be reduced from 60% to 40% in the near future.
