You could just disable the service from running.
Either through tasks/services or in registry. When home I'll have a look-see. |

Anything is possible through the registry, playing around with it can kill your machine though

I spent about an hour running around killing mobs until the game got super laggy and low framerate then i ended a ton of background processes and services, basically everything until there was nothing much left.
It didn't seem tow ork, but I eventually quit the game and logged back in and now after 10 minutes im not seeing any framerate drops yet. The system compression thing is still there though, so that must not be the culprit. It might be Nvidia related as I did update my drivers as I updated windows.

"MAGICAL"Disable second monitor. Something about 2 screens mess's up soma. I'm testing now but when I disable the second monitor the problem seems to not be there. This only started happening after the win10/display driver upgrade though. |

If you are running a second monitor then I'd bet that's the problem as I've had it loads.

Do you know anything else about why this might be happening? I really need a second monitor to watch films while I play.

Edit: The patch is now available.
There is currently no multi-monitor patch for the latest windows 10 build. I will make one. |

7201 is a leaked build (Pre-RTM). I do not have it to check. Be better to get it updated.
