Just a few things which I'm sure have been regurgitated a million times but in case they haven't...
Do my best to help new players all the time with items but gradually run out - my stash isn't endless!

Kharil Lizard in Dsoma Conti - I killed over 2500 of them and had one rare Axe which I gave to my pal.
They drop ALOT of untagged weps.
It would be nice if a reward for Conti was better drops from these mobs, they weren't the easiest thing for me to hunt and a slightly nicer prospect of reward would have been good.
I actually think untagged drops have no place on the continental map, especially if they are hogging the drop list.

Boss drops conti and otherwise - Had a lot of hardened mid level weps... Nothing wrong with mid level weps for people but a nicer tag would be good; maybe I'm just supremely unlucky.

Possibility of an auctioneer in Pandi? Yes people will say "No one will use it..." But it's a place for higher levels to put lower weps for people. It's a place for lower levels to sell higher level items. If people made a decision to use it then it might work well.
I'm sure a lot of decent mid level drops are languishing in people's stash doing nothing.
Or just an NPC who will take items and trade/sell/give to players.

Altered Beast in Hwan is generally a mob everyone hunts at some stage - perhaps the drop list could be tweaked to incorporate more wep drops for the players hunting them; both for their current skill and next skill wep.

Yes I have leveled without this and so have countless others but I'm thinking about casual gamers who perhaps haven't played soma, haven't tried dsoma before, don't know what weapon is next.
For them to be hunting and get their next weapon drop then it becomes a huge goal to achieve and something to keep logging on for.

It's a shame DSoma GVW is dead In the water; I used to love GVW on Esoma.
It's not a Coven problem, if it wasn't them holding it then it would be Elite or someone else. People can't compete with capped characters.
Whether there is a possibility of introducing a rule like after 1 week the person holding stone has to be under level 90, week after level 80, week after level 70.
The same systems WotW would be interesting; each defense they lose 5% (even though they could probably retain on 5% haha)
Might make it a bit of a free for all but maybe that's a better situation than the current one.
I'm sure all in all Coven wouldn't even mind losing their GV privileges once in awhile, their all decent people and I'm sure they'd love a bit more of a competitive aspect rather than showing up.

This server is amazing. Pure and simple.

Would be nice if lower mobs dropped upgrades etc, could do same as the easter eggs, where only drop of you can gain stats!


Tags on dsoma need dramatically upping, theres still level 90+ players who havnt had an intense drop of their weapon, meaning upgrading high end weapons is way to risky!


Its same with upgrades, not enough mobs drop these and they are that hard to get it puts you off farming for them


The new farm mobs are brilliant but to get 3 kills out of 100k worth of pots and 2/3 resis makes it too much of a barr sink. Or you can never get a group of people to farm who are normally logged on at the aame time due to usercount

Even if u was to break down upgrades on mobs drop list. Needing 4 red pills to make 1 red dragon tablet (just make the feel like they drop)

Dura upgrade is a prity useless upgrade when u consider it wastes a upgrade, but it's extremely usefull for low dura acess like swift hands for the lower levels, as well as giving them a taste of upgrading. But only place it really drops is kha lizards that your not on that long

I agree with this and feel it does need looking into.

Another good example of this is when devils dont own conti the mob to hunt after AB/Paladins is Gargoyle Fighters and currently they drop 42 str armour and 53 str shields. Which is pointless to anyone high enough to hunt them (need around 85/90 str).

Is there any chance we can get some GM input into this? Just to see what your point of view on the matter is?

I agree with this and feel it does need looking into.

Another good example of this is when devils dont own conti the mob to hunt after AB/Paladins is Gargoyle Fighters and currently they drop 42 str armour and 53 str shields. Which is pointless to anyone high enough to hunt them (need around 85/90 str).

Is there any chance we can get some GM input into this? Just to see what your point of view on the matter is?


they there spawn isnt great unless you know where to go, but still a mission to go from one side to the other

but there is tark pali, i got told they was good to 104 but am not sure

please, please, can we have some QoL updates to help mid-high levels?

change demented warthog spawn to not have ant eaters in it! (NOBODY) hunts these. complete waste of dura / irritation. I would say 100% of dsoma will happily let you delete the mob entirely from database. use their weird skin for a new mob maybe.

add invulnerability armour to hog and apai, it would add so much more satisfaction to the long boring dsoma grind to be able to loot armor which may improve your character. It would really improve people's experience and help trading etc, might even encourage people to make new characters.

up the droprate of tagged weapons for dsoma - some people have weapons made through upgrades before the exploit got fixed which other players will never even come close to making - bridging this gap will bring a lot of players back I am almost sure. some players have never even had an intense weapon drop, let alone make it +5!

these 3 changes alone would give the higher dsoma players something to aim for. change magma's to only drop new items and hard to get items like the devil friends, these end game farm mobs shouldn't be impossible to hunt and yield items that should be dropping on normal mobs.

i'd pay a bloody good donation now to get these small changes made.

also - great suggestion made in another thread somewhere. make donation store item for like £20 that gives you double warehouse and inventory space. I'm sure a lot of us grown ups that work who have the silly soma bug would pay it for convenience to our lives. item store has such massive potential for items to be added that don't actually make a character stronger etc. add teleports to far reaching parts of maps and things to donation store that are weight 0. "package of demented warthog tp's" £5 which gives you 50 tp's to hogs. casual players hate running >.<.

anyway try and not flame this post guys - gm's never support flame related threads.
