Regardless of if it is written in the etiquette post or not...
The entire server knows that pking at event bosses is not allowed. Isylver did a global shout saying SS bosses are event bosses therefore there should be no pking. There has been no notification of any change in rule to the community.

When an event is spawned pk is removed as an option
Pk should be similarly removed during these other times If it's a banable rule it should 100% be written in the etiquette post |

"MAGICALAPE"A few months ago there was a global shout done by Isylver that pking at the new mobs (magma beast) , pking at event bosses (gm spawned) and pking at Sacred Stone spawned bosses was not allowed, thus in the last few months no one has been pked at them. Mate... you can revive... its not real.... your not dead forever

I would just ask for clarification on whether or not pking at these bosses is allowed now, and if it is, why was the general population not informed, instead it was told to a select group of players over skype. Also i would really love to know if any other rules have changed and if they were also told to a select group aswell.

there is wrong wiz this rule u can pking boss's but events cant pking ... why not do it 1 rule no pking @ boss's or yes pking @ boss's wotever it was event or no event

Since when have the Soma community ever been trustworthy enough to follow a rule simply because they were instructed to do so? Coding is the only thing that will work.

I think most people are missing the main point. No matter what your side is, and what rule it is. You simply cannot be changing rules via Skype or a private forum message and not tell anyone shouldn't be accepted as the norm.
It was a widely known rule that there was no pk'ing at event bosses. And there also hasn't been any PK at SS bosses for a long time (SS is an event and is included) and a rule shouldn't be changed without updating at least the ettiquate thread or a shout.

Open has it spot on, get off your horses and see the real problem here...
Rules have changed a lot in recent weeks, but I think there needs to be a post where they're updated when a new rule comes into action. |
