We need at least 3-6 more months of letting people cap out and start to see the final form of each race (although truth be told it may need to be nearer a year till the best humans are wearing 3/4 upgrades in each slot) before anything should be considered.

blackhat you're an idiot who is continually trolling these forums with whines. it's not the game for you so maybe it'd be best if you went back to the sims online? playerbase here is welcome, but the more you talk the sillier you sound.
if you played any MMO and had 1/10th of the time to play of top players you wont ever win. think you can be rank 1 in arenas on wow with blue tagged pve/craft armor? no chance. the way this server works is perfect, Devils have a big advantage early on with leveling speed due to weapon damage but humans after mid tier become a lot more powerful and level at comparitive if not faster rates. that's why 100% humans 60% devils sucks for us coz we're low stats but it'll naturally balance itself until it's 100-100 and true endgame humans on a lower % most likely. Zyzz and mr_perfect are the same level (if not higher) than carnage, tasteless and monster btw.

If there were "loads", players would have no problem in upgrading items to speed them up through leveling along the way.

I'm content with devils being on a reduced % until humans close the gap.
You'd have to be blind to think that wars are entertaining (for the majority) if we played on 100% vs 100%, despite mid-tier devils being shafted (a small player base in comparison to Hsoma!). I played Esoma long enough (both races to near-endgame) to understand that mid-tier Hsoma vs Dsoma is unbalanced, not beyond repair, but it's been left like that on this server since it's inception. I'm also very willing to accept that this new % system will fix the % between races long-term. The dilemma is that if Hsoma's mid levels are increased in speed, the server's longevity might be at risk. So do we want balance sooner? Or do we want a longer lasting server. I think Hsoma's speed should be increased, places like DWs, Trolls, Valks and for longevity, simply more content, be it in the form of quests that actually hold value in completing. A 'gimmick' crafting system on Dsoma where you collect materials to make items (Accessories, potions, food, armours, weapons) by trading it with an NPC. Upgrades are not difficult to come by on Hsoma, it's just the crafting system is unforgiving as such you make a huge risk in trying to make worth-while upgrades. As a result, people stockpile their Upgrade materials and their armours before taking the leap.

Any complaint now is being based on a temporary period of time where humans are much lower level and lower in essential gear than devils (due to all around slower leveling, con, crafting, leveling int) - something which will change dramatically in the future. If we want the game to have longevity it has to be balanced around the endgame - that is people at the major hsoma slows and/or level caps. There are a ton of upgrades waiting to be made in the game, individuals have hundreds of frogs each and are waiting on the necessary trusted crafters and armours before spunking them. There are blockages in other parts (for example not many diamonds about) and some upgrades arent 'unlocked' untill the high level mobs can be grinded (not a single person on del tab dropping BLG yet).Then there is the necessary attrition of failed upgrades while trying to go above +1 in each slot, or finding weapons and armors worth upgrades. We need to wait many more months before we can have a picture of what human v devil combat is like, let alone trying to balance it in the right way.
