new staff/upgradable spells for dsoma

As the title says I was wondering if dsoma mages could get a new staff the current top end staff requires 99 skill 100 int. Most current melee top end weps require 130+ skill to use so there is an opening to have a new staff around 130-140 skill.

also the second thing is upgradable spells like hsoma lvl 2/3/4 etc i know most mages would like an upgraded weaken spell for sure, it is quite hard to get if you arent in a guild that can help. i cant see it being too hard to do this and it may give people more of a reason to play the mage class as it is currently the most under represented class on dsoma.

already drops from the top end mob and is only required to be used for learning zombie so maybe you could add another use by letting us upgrade our spells with them too, not asking for stupidly op power spells but a little stronger wouldnt go a miss.

just a few ideas.

been lvling a mage, after egf the leveling speed drops significantly, also its almost impossible to get weaken these days with people leaving chars logged at shiro or having trace chars there.

compared to other classes that ive leveled mage seems to be by far the slowest of all. and ive heard it only gets slower lol

Your best bet would be to ask whoever kills shiro most to let you have last hit and let them keep drops, they are known for being hard to level after a certain point, unless you can get a tank at kl to see you through to Garg shaman

Mage is the only class that has a long and difficult quest for a skill that is essential for leveling maybe the gms could consider removing the quest and just have it as a regular spell that is learnt? I think this and the slow leveling speed is the reason people shy away from playing a mage it defo needs looking into

They need a range spell that uses hardly any mp for hunting aswell..

Same as lvl3/4 human spirit sword and light arrow

Also with how poverty dsoma is the -x spells prices need looking at! 300k-1mil for upgrades!!

Perhaps a massively OP spell that can be learnt at lvl 60, mega powerful, only useable against mobs. For each lvl gained the magic attack drops so by lvl 100 its less/same as explosion-x to boost lvling speed maybe?

only thing needed is magic monsters to get a boost in exp similar to what the melee mobs got and as jr said a leveling spell that doesnt use loads of mp, and also upgradable weaken/heal etc

These ideas are all great. I was wondering if anything is planned to enhance the mage class in the coming weeks/months? As people have previously stated, it looks like it could use a helping hand!

Any info from the Gms would be great
