New mage mob for dsoma

I agree with new mobs for dsoma mages, humans and devils will never be on par 1 on 1, but 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 is where we own devils. It's only fair that humans/devils str wise have them to give the devil counterparts the same ...

Tiokz i dont get what u are trying to say, of course we will be higher int than humans, ALL we can do is mage.. not like we can switch to a melee weapon, i could say the same for my str... Oh i get like 0.5 str a level high lvls 70s, im never going to reach the '171' str a human can.... not to mention i cant switch to melee


Based on my gains now a pure mage to 100 wouldnt even hit 120 str without spending 100+ hours a lvl punching

And also saying that humans are only going to get 120 is pretty stupid, its ur choice if u want to be a mage and get 170+... this has no relevance at all

So if there was a new mage mob what int should it have ?

195 gives it a 50 int boost from garg shaman, same gap from egf to shaman

Or maybe a bit lower as these no new mage gear better than diab

What mob would u like to see used ?

Would like to see some of the new skins from other games used that have been used on other server's, some fit soma well imo

if you go to search armory and type in "lizwarmage" that looks like an endgame mage mob ready to be introduced doesn't it?

Perhaps with slight tweaks.

INT to 185
Defensive DEX to 250
STR dropped to something undesirable.
Moral to Very Good

Health could be increased as long as % speed matches that of WBM.


Lizwarmage is an Abyss monster as far as I recall.

Conti Gargoyle Shaman with 20more int, full diabolist set (both sexes) and staff of shadows in their dropfile would be great.

Conti Elite gargoyle fighters with 20more int, full demonship set (both sexes) and staff of nightfall in their dropfile would be great.

New mage monster comparable to melee's warbeast miners with an endgame staff, shadows set (create a hat to go with the set and increase magic defense of the whole set to make it worth 104int to equip).

As it stands, mages best staff is 100int, 99skill, even hsoma has a 130+ skill staff.

All endgame melee weapons are 121 - 132 skill respectively, shadows is equivalent to the penultimate tier weapon and it would be grand to have a top end staff that mages can aim for.
On Esoma -L tag shadow staff was 135skill required.

I also expect humans to get an equivalent endgame mage monster.

I fail to understand why on Esoma both races had their engame magic monster, but on this server only the melees do.

Kharil Lizards are replicating Kharil Golems, where are my Seraphim :(

bit disappointing, monster has stoped levelling :( can understand why, garg shaman are soooo boaring, feel like iv been on this mob forever with it having same skin, same dungeon

and im still 20 or so lvls behind monster :/

After coming back to play again, im still in hope of a new mob equal to war beast miner for mages please, it seems strange we dont have the same rights as a melee devils to gain some full yellow stats instead of blue ones every level

I get where you're coming from, but melee doesn't get yellow int from doing their weapon, they might get 0.1 or 0.2 int/wis (please correct me if you get different gains). If anything mages get more str/dex/con from doing int than melee gets int/wis. Though this is hardly a fair comparisson as str/dex/con are a lot more important for mages than int/wis is for melee.

Yeh i totaly understand that but shouldnt we still have a mob with the same int as there mob does str, not asking for our gains or anything to be changed, just a mob with equal, its not like this is hsoma where they can all do either int or str, if theres some reasoning we cant have a mob with the same int as wbm do str can someone explain?

I see other mobs getting more spawns and i dont think it would take long to add this, I just want to be told a good reason why it cant be done as it would just be an equal mob to everyone else, like i said before if there is something im not understanding and a blue would explain why it wouldnt be a good idea

And nobody can argue monster hasn't given punching a good go he's a nutter and I guarantee nobody will follow In his foot steps on that one. It's kind of dead ending the class right now.

S0rc has tried also (drazil druids), its not that punchings too good, its the same as it would be for a melee, its the fact that i dont even have to think about doing an int level right now, if a new mob was here it would probaly give me a decision wether i want to get a decent chunk more int/wis or do a punch lvl and get ok int/wis and a ok dex/con gain but right now there is no option of both, just one
