As a level 60 Devil, raiding Conti map under human control, what level of human do you want to, or expect to be able to PK solo and with ease? |

maybe a 30-40something player, people closer to our level would require 2 or 3 of us.
As it stands, a 60-ish devil literally speaking does ONE dmg per hit to someone in gold. |

Ive been in gold for ages and ill be in it a bit longer as the tagged stuff I have is as good and one piece better than shadow. Im still only level 52 now. Just because someones in gold doesnt mean they have only 61 str or what ever it is to ware it.

"SCOIN"What level do you think ppl are who are in gold? I think it strengthens his point to be honest, you're level 52, Path has 10 levels more than you and he is doing 1 damage per hit. ONE whole point of damage with a 10 level lead.

I think it strengthens his point to be honest, you're level 52, Path has 10 levels more than you and he is doing 1 damage per hit.
ONE whole point of damage with a 10 level lead.[/quote]

Now i've have in my wh some plate and gold to use as an example: 3~4 Plate helm. 8~14 Gold top [rare] 7~13 Gold Legs [rare] 5~8 Gold Boots [hard] 23~39 Def If you only just got into gold armor, and so only had 68str, you would have, using this set; 91~107 Def. So if I hit this player with my strongest hit, against their min def, the maximum I could do is 12dmg. Now, by the time you get to gold, I have no idea how much your avg human's hp looks like, you'd have to help me on that. But for argument's sake lets go for the low low low figure of 250 (we all know its much more than that surely) So, If luck was on my side, and the stars aligned, I somehow managed to get my maximum dmg against your min def every melee swing, it would take me a clean 20 hits to kill, without potting or healing. Unfortunately, you're going to have more HP than that, you wont be standing still without potting or healing for 20 hits, and lets face it, im not going to hit my max against your min every hit, so in reality its a hell of a lot more than 20 hits. For me to have even 1 more maximum dmg on this %, I need to gain another 2str, thats 1 or 2 more levels to still do 1~13dmg to a basic gold human. You want some hard irrefutable figures, there you are. You want to know what my gear is like? I use a 121skill knuckle, the endgame one, its also Epic, and I think the 2nd best knuckle currently available, other than jaragoondoo's Intense one, so there nothing else I can possibly do to get more dmg unless I spend another 15-20levels hunting WBM (which is literally impossible to do atm) so I can then maybe do some dmg to people which would then be 40-50 levels lower than myself.

My MAX Att is 259, on 40% is 103 Att.

4 Humans on my raid to conti:

I dont stand next to them! I have no chance at all to kill a devil 10 levels lower almost with the dev on 40% You dont see humans moaning they cant kill devils when hey raid conti on 40%... Its almost impossible. Devils on 60% are easily outpotting numerous humans on 100%, What hope do a few humans on 40% have of killing a devil? Im 10 levels above you and today at SS with weaken you took almost half my health with a single DB, sure you cant kill lower lvls? Even the highest melee devil cannot tank a large group of humans, A high melee human can with some ease, E.g Mr_perfect naked, Malefic grey showing how low damage was etc. The majority of devils would be delighted to have humans on 60, 80 or even 100% on devil conti, we love the pvp. Humans wont complain about their own raid % though, as mentioned before they are too busy killing each other/ crafting / getting devils nerfed on the forum etc. I think my favorite part of what you said was ''Maybe i could kill some noob hunting dread scythes, but whats the point in that...'' So your agreeing the % needs to be upped? As mentioned before id took me 13 hits and a 4th to kill nitrostealth afk (gold armour). Int is the only way to make kills on low % and the last time i checked you had a lot of it...Before you jump on the anti dsoma bang-wagon please use some of it..

Have to strike a fine balance, if devils could consistently inconvenience me hunting Leiver Beasts then I'd just hunt Palus an lose interest in conti or wotw. Wouldnt be worth my while when Palus also drop knight swords, other nice items and give similar stats.
I realise I've not been to many wotw but I'll make more of an effort since conti changes have made it much more attractive.
