Just clarified it with Scoin, I was doing 1/5'th with weaken & ex-x.

Sorc's damage to me in full sorc bar top - with weaken just under half health - my int is 80.

Indeed, we agree whole heartedly that they need removing.

And you're using Hyperbole as well, I just tested (with Scoin grey) that I am doing 1/5th of his health while he's naked and his INT is about the same as yours.

Do tell me, in what way is it possible for me to do 1/2 your HP while you've got similar stats AND you're using sorc gear?

FYI you were tearing up Pathologist, hence he kept running for to me to protect him.

The +100hp pot is a game breaker and neither Path nor myself deny this.

You were doing about 90 dmg a hit to me, 1 db every 4-5 seconds is not going to kill me, you cant stand there and cast because you dont have enough dex, when you do hit, it does hurt.

On the other hand, im doing what, 1-5dmg to you?

If I do virtually nil dmg to scoin in gold, and your in shadow? with a shield, surely your taking min dmg from me.

Even with +10s i could outpot the dmg you were doing because it was too infrequent.

Perhaps the +100 pot should be lowered to +60-75, see if it makes a bit of difference, as tbh even at 40% you lot are trickly little devils to kill :P

When you used int, i'd put my int gear on, when you used your knuckle, back to melee gear ;p

But come on, im stronger than you, taking nearly 100/hit and your taking 1dmg from me, dont see why theres any argument at all

Not really bothered if they get removed now or not tbh, but if they do it's gg's to mid level devils and humans lol.

When we encountered you at Bone Golems, he throws on his Demonship Robes (which is full epic) as he's far too scared (sorry bro!) of you hitting him and someone else sniping a kill on him.

Path is there for the sole purpose of interrupting your casts, we all know he is doing 1 damage to you (not exaggerating, literally, 1 damage).

I would suggest a trial of removing the +100, we have +50's and if it's too low, slowly increase it from there.

And to Carnage, I admit I use +100's and seeing them go would drop my survivability a lot, but right now unless there's 10+ humans on us, we don't die... Even on low %.

% could be upped if our survivability was reduced, as a result our mid level devils wouldn't feel like they attend wars to hit players 10levels lower than them for 1~20 damage.

Conti is supposed to be a contested map, if you dont pay attention when you hunt its your problem.and probably why you die so much.

But then again Scoin, your posts have been clueless since day 1.

As you can see from then lower than usual devil turnout at wow some players are quitting a lot of that is due to bad wow %, ye devils won at 61%, but there was no way we should have.

No you dont see humans complaining about not being able to raid conti, but then again, they're all too busy killing each other, have more content and a lot more to do.

The general attitude is that humans shuldnt die, alot of you whined and you got your way, every devil is now killable, no devil can tank for any extended period of time, but a very large number of humans can.

In the long run the problem may resolve itself, but for now, im concerned dsoma will die.

All I want to add to this is that I feel when we own the map, survivability should be in our favour, and the premise that the humans out number the devils doesn't really work with the state of the current human community because unless your hunting with guild members or allied guild members the chances are that other humans in the area wont help if your attacked on conti by devils because they would rather see a member of an apposing guild die than waist their dura trying to kill a devil who is unkillable. which I totally understand.

edit: warlock, its wasn't how you have described, I wasn't caught of guard and I didn't run out of pots, sorce was hitting and the guy with 4th nux hitting at the same time they take more than the 100 hp pots I was taking, 1/5 of my hp is over 80 hp, just from sorce hitting once.

Has anyone ever looked into why Conti % only impacts F10 stats? Dex doesn't change at all.

S0rc and Path were able to stop most, if not all humans at wraiths from hunting. They weren't really going to kill many unless we ran out of pots but they could easily camp the spawn and not let anyone hunt. As stated with the +100's the devils would NOT die either. Even Zyzz who is the highest int human couldn't kill either of them along with a few others hitting.

There is no benefit for me to hunting in Conti, raising the % would cement that fact and see me avoid it all together.

I have to say that I did find it beyond bizarre that nobody was coming to Scoin's aid...
You had people standing around him and just watching...

EQ members on the other hand, I must admit, we were not attacking them as I've a few buddies in there... But they drew first blood so we struck back. (was even healing/tanking golems for Demize! (love you!)).

What was different?

All EQ guildies rallied together to shoo off the pesky devils.

Even Zyzz and Fuji came to their aid (to which we had to high tail it out of there).

Again, to reiterate, I do believe staying power is too high due to our pots, you'd be nuts to think we weren't taking big damage. Heck, 1 Dragonbreath in weaken from Fuji (or Zyzz) drops Path to literally <10hp.

Now me?
No, Fuji hurts, I expect him to, he's either #1 or #2 mage on Hsoma, but even on 40%, when I'm wearing my robes, I can outpot him with +100's comfortably even in weaken.

Managed to score a couple of kills vs. people naked who don't bring HP pots while hunting on a contested map (lol!) but other than that, just served as an annoyance, distrupting people from hunting in peace.

Heck, I'm a Devil, you're a Human, it's natural!

Though to pick a point Quimm mentioned, nobody was hitting at the same time as Zyzz, whenever Zyzz or Fuji came into range of Path, he legged it. He perhaps has a little video or some screenshots (if he was recording that) which clearly shows after each spell (in weaken) from Zyzz/Fuji he was on a slither of HP.

I also agree with the Dex point he mentioned, it's a bit silly that Pathologist will deal 1 damage to the people he attacks, but hits them nearly 100% of the time.

I simply propose nerfing survivability of Devils, but really making the map contested... Heck, as mentioned previously, people are hunting naked without potions... What is that about??

Devils on Esoma did rinse humans for a period, devils had +10 devil friend rings giving +10 int +10 str +10 dex EACH, they also didn't have devils at 60% stats. in wotw. Devils also had conti ab's with 33% more xp than they have now, and humans didn't have the LB's and bone golems and multiple spawns of stuff they have now (THIS ISNT ESOMA) yet i remember full turnouts to wotws on esoma regardless of how strong devils were or weren't that particular week.

im fed the frick up of hearing humans complaining like little children about %!! THIS SERVER IS EARLY days, it WILL start to rebalance and as said before humans will be the overpowered ones lol


You are totally clueless. I remember humans point BLANK refusing to turn up when the % was stupidly bad. Dsoma was given higher att/def weps and armour because it came out way after hsoma so people could catch up and make wotw an interesting part of the game. On this server you started at the same time and your weps/armour have had a huge buff due to the tagging system and on the flip side of that human upgrades etc have had a nerf.

This thread really boils down to 1 thing. Dsoma is boring you guys want more to do so u figure pissing ppl off on conti is the way to go about the entire dsoma week is focused around wotw when hsoma really isnt even though i personally do find it fun most humans can take it or leave it.

solution to all. Just delete dsoma and have more interesting gvws every1 on the same side battling for spawns, the village be fun.

This is pretty true. On esoma it was literally a week of grinding just to have a bit more strength at wotw. Even on the test server devils had fewer numbers than humans but every single one turned up for war - it means SO much more for them than humans, and always has.
