Drop rate increase

That's right, you asked for it so you'll get it. We've increased our drop rates by 25% this should help you find some great items.

What are your thoughts on removing some unnecessary items from loots tables? E.g many of the items dropped by Hoarde Shanis. 25% additional drop rate would certainly increase the frequency of undesirable items dropping from loot tables.

X drops all have a chance of dropping at the same time, just because a herb drops doesn’t mean you’ve missed out on something else. Hence why now some mobs double drop and sometimes triple drop. Just ignore the bad drops or sell them... there is no reason to remove unless there’s no space to add new drops.

TEMEROSO is that so? So every item in a mobs loot table could drop on a single kill? So all 50 items in Hoarde Shanis current loot table? Even say like 5 items at once from a Hoarde Shanis? Ive never seen this in Soma.

X I have had 4 items drop from mobs on occasion, I think its set to 3x3 square area so the 8 spaces around you plus the space your character is stood in.

TEMEROSO RAVENSOUL, so as an example, the game process is not saying: Roll RNG on amount of items to drop on enemy kill > Drop 4 items > Roll RNG on 4 items from drop table of 50 items of varying drop ratios? If not, can anyone please explain the process pattern for that 50 item loot table.

If monster A has 8items in his drop file leather being most popular and diamond being the most rare, monster A could by RNG drop all 8items when killed. You might kill 20000 more monster A and gather 20000 leathers and 2 diamonds. But there is a chance you could get all 8 drops. A monster having more or less items does not make a difference to a item dropping.

Each item has a number of rarity to that monster. Monster A that drops diamonds every 20000ish kills doesn’t Necessarily mean monster B takes as many kills. And also taking RNG into account means everything I just explained means fuck all haha
