There's a few new quests for each race to accomplish. Collect all the Tomes and gain a powerful reward. Speak to Dohwan or Hasra and they'll be able to help you find your way.

Tomes are gettined used for the new hero accessory from what iv read, but this is currently not ingame, just the tomes to start collecting
