Sounds like a decent trial idea, it's a step in the right direction and if doesn't work not much has changed?!
people complaining about axe being op, if switched to con axe loses about 80 defence at lvl 100, possibly a little too much so might need a middle ground or to stay with str

Agreed but by the many archers buying proc parts people will either get put down very easily (specially str classes as this hurts them most) or forces you to re-jig your stats making your go away from your main stats which your char is designed to have (shouldn't have to do this)

All I can see happening is people will wait to see who makes the best build in each class that seems to dominate then re roll and copy that class. A few weeks down the line someone will make something else that dominates. Re roll. Rinse and repeat. That's how I see things happening in the future.

It's always happened. Everyone went archer. Got nerfed. Intheface popped up and a lot of people re rolled punch chars. Bot's were killed before anyone finished a pure punch knuxer thankfully.

I'm all for the change I don't care massivly about leveling anymore so I like the idea of re building my char. The only thing that does put me off is leveling on the same old mobs again.

Can any lvl 100 char say they are excited to go back to hogs/apai for months?

I agree with you, but I wouldn't say the system is massively flawed because of this. STR classes could be given more points or dex could be split into 2 stats (defensive and attacking); both of these have already mentioned as possibilities by GMs. Either of those options would easily fix this "massive flaw".

I don't understand this bit. Are you expecting that we don't add new mobs with the cap raise patch?

you can spend you point in int/wis/dex/con and low str and hunt KL and WBM could probly go back to EB as % is based on str

Good point lol smash them up to max, run round wbm with invent full of weps as can take naked and just reroll at new cap

Just a thought with respect to the limits being a guide per class, with 7 per level the limits won't really come into affect as so many points short of them in total anyway unless you are forcing min levels as well? Which then obviously detracts from the 'build how you want' char

This also affects new characters they won't have the ability to ignore wis and int if your caps are in place? Meaning a worse char at end as will be spread across everythrkng

I genuinely think you need to take away new players from Dsoma once this change goes into place and give out 100's.

Also, is there any reason you can just make Dsoma stats same as hsoma? Str, Int, Dex. No need for this con for defense and wisdom for magic defense, ive always wondered why thats a thing, it doesnt add anything imo.

Mages either need extra stats, or they need a hero Armour that balances out the class.

why not merge int/wis to 1 stat to avoid ppl going for 0 int that way u wont have to force em to put int.
8points is better and as sorc has said the stat alocation whould be better for lvl100-105 and why mages dont have int cap 300? 240 is way too low tbh same as con.
