Event Idea : Santa's Sledge Attacked

Just a small Christmas event idea if there needed

During a test run over the lands of soma ahead of the 24th santa was attacked! Although he is fine all of his present were scattered over the lands and it would appear monsters are hiding them although its not known why. Either this was a horrible planned attack or monsters like shiney things!

So Santa is resting up and has asked the help of us to find these present to save Christmas! He has employed one of his elf's to stand in town (Npc) To accept all present recovered and offer certain ways of saying thank you.

This event has the gathering aspect of halloween but with a slight edge ... Only monsters that you can gain off will again drop this items. There are 3 different types of gifts you shall be looking for ..

Christmas Candy Cane : Mid to Common drop ( Wraith Essence kinda drop rate ) You will require 10 of these
Christmas Stocking : Rare ish Drop rate ... You will require 10 of these a time
Christmas Present : Rare Drop .... You will require 10 on these a turn

On gathering the correct amount of each type ( can do this more than once ) You must take them to the helpful elf in town where he will reward you with a gift to match the rarity of the presents ... Candy canes could give you anything from 20 copper to Weight 1 pots .. Stockings may give you a tagged armor to 5% rested .... And then the hardest is the presents! These may reward you with maybe a stat gain 0.1 ( random str/dex/int/wiz can work on same click gain as cook book quest ) Or even 10% rested or a rare weapon ( were talking LB drops ) .. You may say wow slow down that's OP but these are a Rare drop and just to stop anyone gaining a advantage all these presents are non trade-able

ROLLING ATTACKS

As another aspect there was indeed a horrible plan by the monsters to ruin Christmas for all and as such have caught wind of our plan to help santa and will plan to attack the towns and take down the helpful elf's to get the presents back so no one will have a happy Christmas! These will have the " Xmas Beast " skin or of course anything! and will have a higher drop rate of the above 3 presents dropped ( Making people come and bringing the community together) so we must join together to repel these attacks and save the elf while the bonus of some drops!

On attacks it will become clear there is a evil leader in all this and that will be the Evil elf who was expelled from the north pole for being in general evil. Swearing . And stealing the presents! Since then he has vowed to recruit evil and end christmas for ever ( This is a boss mob isylver can decide what it drops and what int/str/hp for it to have but elf skin but red/green colour )

Getting rare weps is in no way op, they drop all the time in conti.

However what is definitely op is rest bonus potions, and i think they should not be introduced unless presents as well as potions are both untradeable, otherwise id just buy them off everyone and itd just make the rich/ high levels level faster and they already benefit more from rest bonus as it is already.
Exactly same deal with the +stat items.

Good idea, but i dont like your suggestions for prizes.

Did see this coming hence i did put all presents ( ALL) are untradeable . And were talking very rare drops with still the chance on not getting rested as a gift .

You could make them trade-able but usable only when below a certain level.

Or

Have them give a set amount of rested exp, as in the digit of exp, not the % of exp, making them more useful for lower levels (less exp points per %) than higher levels (more exp points per %).

This was all just an idea and a guide before we all start dissecting it into bits lol im sure isylver will have a idea of what should give what as a gift :)

I like this idea although it would be great hopefully to have the Xmas event what's decideed released soon! As most people start their Christmas spirit on December 1st :)

If we did the exp thing would have to be untradeable fixed point values.

I.e 40000 value is

5% at level 35
1.2% at level 50
0.55% at level 60
